  • Had a wonderful stay. The manager was very gracious and accommodating The food is excellent. Would recommend the Grey Owl to anyone going to St. Simons Island and would definitely stay there again.
  • The atmosphere and friendliness.
  • It was very clean and the furnishings beautiful. Would of been nice if there was a chair in the room. The location to beach was excellent.

  • Bed-awful. Both of us woke up with stiff necks. old mattress that they had put a topper on. Was like sleeping in hammock, hard to roll over. Breakfast-ehh. mostly microwaved and only served at 9am-no exceptions. Staff angry if you don't order day before.
  • No one to greet us or talk to while we were there, no one on check-out. No one available to talk to, no understanding about policies or procedures regarding breakfast. No hospitality of any kind, for the rating & price paid...not worth it. Very unhappy.

The privacy was nice, the room was nice but there was an issue with some of the lights. The bath and shower were delightful and the grounds were lovely.
No one to greet us or talk to while we were there, no one on check-out. No one available to talk to, no understanding about policies or procedures regarding breakfast. No hospitality of any kind, for the rating & price paid...not worth it. Very unhappy.
