Homewood Suites by Hilton Macon-North

The location was great. It’s situated on a street that isn’t too busy.

A bit of a stale smell in the room but overall a nice stay.

The room was clean.

The food had gnats, no bowls for the cereal, no toaster for the toast. The only hot food option were eggs, sausage, hashbrowns. A gnat landed in my daughter’s drink. I am so disappointed especially for the price of the room.

Room was comfortable and clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. hotel is close to freeway, but quiet.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. Our room was big and pillows were soft.

The rooms could use some maintenance and deep cleaning. Overall everything appears ok but if you look closely there's spiderweb in the corners and wall damage. There was also a dead lizard in the pool.

Easy on and off interstate. Good staff great breakfast in the morning.

Hotel was busy and first room had someone kicking the wall next room over. They gave us a new roof and much better no noise.

It is very convenient to the highway. The rooms all have full kitchens, and we like to have the option of making our own food when traveling.

They no longer serve hot breakfast during the week. The desk clerk told us they only serve breakfast on the weekends. Very disappointing. The room had a lot of wear and tear. The shower floor was very dingy (like it was old)

I could live there! That's how great it was. Staff was helpful, considerate, and friendly. Suite was roomy, bed comfy, furnishings just right. Kitchenette was just right, too.

Getting in and out of the hotel was tricky because of the hill at Bass Rd and there was evidence on the road of wrecks there. My grandchildren came to visit, but the pool was closed. In June and in Georgia. Made us sad so we went for ice cream.

Arrived at 9:00 for son's graduation. Understand way too early to check in but by 3:00 room still not ready. WORST PILLOWS EVER! and horrible mattress no pillow top there. Beautiful on outside but not important contents.

Convenience

Ants in the room. Chipped up vanity stain on the couch 2 towels instead of 3 and the toilet was not flushed.It had feces in it.

Location was perfect! The room was absolutely spectacular!

Was a little disappointed that the receptionist did not tell us anything about the hotel, knowing we were not from the area. She did not tell us breakfast time or anything about evening reception, no WIFI information, nothing!

We were assigned a "handicapped suite" instead of the king. OK. But, if that was for the handicapped, it was poorly done! Not a shower, a tub with a pull-down seat. Only ONE mirror in the whole suite (except mirror doors in the poorly lighted bedroom)

It was a smoking room and was terrible. The itinerary did not show it would be smoking, and it was a terrible night.

Very friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.

Carpet was stained in the hallways in many spots (bleach?). There was a light out in my bathroom that could not be replaced/repaired due to a missing part. Made it hard to see in the mirror. Internet was difficult to navigate to connect.

Rooms were spacious, well laid out, and great for a wedding party.

The hotel is in excellent condition, especially considering the options in the Macon area. The guest rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast is delicious.

It's definitely a bit of a haul to downtown Macon. While the Bass area is really developing, you'll still want to hop in a car to go most anywhere. Natalia's being next door and Mellow Mushroom more or less across the street is fun though.

The Homewood Suites in Gainsville FL was so much more professional than this one. I was a little disappointed.

Very spacious and clean room.
