Budget Inn Top of Ellijay

It was a place to sleep.

The employee that checked me in was rude which made me want to cancel my reservation, I didn't want to be charged for canceling. I asked for a ground floor room and was told they couldn't put me there because they were having plumbing issues. Upstairs too

This was one of the cleanest & quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. The room looked recently remodeled, the bathtub and tile surround were shining and the laminate and tile floors were great! Great service too, super nice people!

The hotel is minutes away from downtown. The hotel is one of the originals in the town so it is dated but very well maintained and clean.

Price and location

Floor was not very clean and toiletries were minimal

no hot water , card reader needs new battery , coffee maker was broken

The rude woman who runs it and I did not get the price advertised. She said 2 night minimum at $----/ night

Plenty of parking, nice employees, fresh smelling room, spacious, some free toiletries provided, complimentary refrigerator and microwave provided in room, didn't notice any bugs, and felt safe overall.

The only thing negative was that the pillows were much too fluffy and the bedside alarm clock malfunctioned.

It¿s a great little find on the road. The rooms have been updated and are very nice. Outside, looks a little dated, but everything in my room was wonderful

checkin time is 3pm and check out time is very early at 10 am no continental breakfast

Great central location to the areas activities. Area was quiet, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable with a large TV to relax in front of at the end of the day.

I did not like my stay and I wouldn¿t recommend it to anyone else. The customer service was horrendous

The staff was extremely rude. Never available when needed. When the lady did show up she yelled at me because her kids are in karate class and she can¿t be there to get me a key.

thin walls between rooms, too much talking noise from unit to unit. The connecting door to adjacent room not thick and completely solid.Light actually came through the edges from the other room! as well as talking and TV noise. Hate the cheap thin walls.

I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and it was very nice.

I had to wait outside the check-in window for about 20 minutes (even after ringing the bell multiple times) waiting on someone to come check me in. No one answered the phone. When someone finally came they didn't even have my reservation.

This turned out to be a very pleasant, unplanned stay. Made a reservation about 30 minutes before arrival. Easy to find. Checkin was very friendly and fast. Room was clean and well taken care of. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The place looked like a junkyard. Just outside the door to our room were old dressers,microwaves,and matresses. We paid to stay 3 nights, but our second night I found a bedbug in my bed. Disgusting!

Very quiet and peaceful, tucked away nicely. Not many people coming or going at all. For someone like me that doesn't like many people around it was a good experience on my visit, don't know if it's always like that, but it was this time

There aren't really many amenities but I wouldn't expect there to be for a little budget hotel in the country

I've been coming to this hotel about a year now from 1 night stay to a week stay and had a good experience stay this last time I stayed was good and would pick that room again if I could lol

We decided to try a hotel. What we found was a quiet, secluded, affordable, and clean one. Amar and his wife are hard working and friendly owners. They turned out to be great hosts making our stay comfortable. We definitely look forward to coming back!

Staff was nice.

Dirty towel left in the room. Blown lightbulbs-2. Things still in fridge from last person.
