Pros +

  • It is very clean and close to the Square . My wife and I love this!
  • Location, location, location! Easy access to everything.
  • Perfectly situated by The Square. Lovely large room with a lounge and spa bath. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

Cons -

  • The living room set up is not comfortable at all. There is a short leather couch and two very uncomfortable chairs. They need to replace these. All you do us slide around on the leather couch.
  • Parking is lacking on site. Could use more coffee in the rooms for coffee fiends.
  • I was in room 14. The air conditioning unit is right above the bed, rather dirty, and missing a piece so it blows directly on your head. This left me to have to choose between icy tornado face or a muggy Georgia cloud of misery.

The location is convenient. It was a friend's birthday, so we hit up some wineries and then ate at Spirit's Tavern. Having the hotel right there to pop back in to was nice. The staff was friendly.

The room was classified as a queen suite. The terminology of suite to me is a sitting area or other room incorporated into the bedroom. The room was 10 x 12 I feel like they were misleading and the price was too much.

Website information misleading. Room very small. Staff rude.

Great location in the center of town close to restaurants and coffee shops!

The location is superb! It's literally right on the main square in downtown Dalhonega.

Location, location, location

Everything was great

Location and space was wonderful for me and my daughters. We could easily walk to shops and restaurants in the square and then take transportation to wine taste at the local wineries.

Nothing to report!

Very clean and nice sized rooms.

Parking was hard to find

Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Location to downtown. Cleanliness of room. Nice bed, linens and towels. Good lighting. Easy access to room with keypad. Ceiling fans a plus!

Very uncomfortable seating area. Doors to bedroom and bathroom didn’t close properly. Very tall shower glass door was intimidating as hard to close without banging shut. Tall shower enclosure also prohibited draping wet towels to dry. Towels were nice and fluffy but only one set per guest or option to go get more upstairs☹️ Towel bars in lieu of hooks in bathroom would be preferable. Towels did not dry overnight. Larger vanity top would be preferable. There was plenty of vanity cabinets but there was limited space to spread out toiletries on the vanity top. A shelf on the wall would be nice addition too.

Pleasant

Too noisy, you can hear everything. Room was too small not what I call a suite. The town closes too early. No staff on promise. No elevator.

The suite was immaculately clean and very well decorated. The location was perfect for walking to shops and dinner.

We loved everything about the property.

Very convenient location. Clean and modern decor. Friendly staff. Quiet. Easy to understand instructions for checking in or out. Microwave and extra towels located at end of hallway. We stayed in the room called Dogwood. Was just right for the 2 of us. Suites avail if you have a bigger party or kiddos. We lucked out with parking in 1 of the 3 spaces. Overall, I would recommend and definitely stay again!

Limited parking but, definitely not a deal breaker as there is a parking garage. Just harder to haul luggage, etc. to room. I would recommend a larger mirror maybe behind restroom door for the smaller room such as Dogwood, otherwise you will only have a restroom mirror.

Close and convenient, very clean and comfy.

10DawnPosted on: 5-15-2025

The room was very comfortable and super clean. The location couldn’t be better with it being so close to the Dahlonega Square shops and restaurants, as well as UNG campus.

Would have preferred it to have its own designated parking lot.
