Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was close to the base. This was my second stay and I enjoyed it as much as my first. If I am staying in the area I would choose this hotel again.

There really wasn't anything negative about the hotel, but if I had to choose I would keep the room service menus out on the desk instead of in a drawer.

The location is very convenient. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The manager is very nice and accommodating.

We stayed for 6 days & 5 nights - I was told upon check-in on day 3 that someone would go in and clean the room, replace linen and towels. No one did. There was a very limited breakfast selection to include: a waffle maker, drinks, bagels, yogurt, and a piece of paper that said sorry, no delivery this week. For all 6 days days. The elevator needs to be fixed. It shakes when in use.

Location was great.

Some desk clerks were great, others were not very friendly. Breakfast was sparse, waffle maker was not usable, breakfast attendant was rude to guests. No carpet in my room, floor was dirty and bottom of my socks were dirty after walking on it for one evening.

Room was clean but felt it could be cleaner. Sheets, toilet, sink were clean. Microwave, surfaces, doors were not clean. Enjoyed that the hotel was pet friendly and considering this the rooms were free of pet smell and hair. Price was good.

Room and hallways could have been better taken care of and cleaner. Check in process was very slow. Coffee could be better.

The entire hotel smells sour and there is heavy moisture everywhere. No air conditioning in the hallways. Room was damp everywhere on the floor. No signs of mold yet.

Spacious rooms, non-carpeted floors, comfortable bed, quiet

Breakfast was terrible, towels are too small and thin - nonabsorbent, pillows aren’t efficient, lack of kitchenette, utensils and cleaning supplies.

All staff very polite friendly and helpful with everything. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was great every morning and the woman working in that area was so sweet and helpful . Outside area in back was so peaceful and relaxing it was like having access to a wooded back yard . The tree gazebo was beautiful.
