Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

It was excellent it had certain areas where it was close to the hotel.

The staff was friendly. The room was mostly clean.

The room was extremely hot and it took hours to finally cool down. There was no hair dryer. The phone had something red and sticky on it so I couldn't call the front desk. Then when we finally got it cooled down we only had a sheet and a very very thin bed spread. Also no coffee pot in the room.

I enjoyed the location and the surrounding area

I did not like that there was a roach I stepped on and had to kill in the bathroom the first night my mother and I arrived. I did not like that the light above the bathroom mirror did not work so that we may see to apply our make up and do our hair.

Nothing - Did not stay any longer than to see rooms and leave. This place is horrible. A health hazard. Only thing good I could say is it is a great location, close to base gates.

AC cover was sitting on the bed, rooms smelled like mold, urine, holes in walls, cobwebs, bugs, and dirty. Overall a health hazard. Desk clerk showed me 4 other rooms and all were like the others. Requested a refund and was given the owner's number. Get an auto response - "Thanks, for calling. I am in a meeting, Can I help you with a text instead" I explained the situation and never got a response. Photos have to be from another location or from 20 years ago. Landscaping is grown up and building it self is ran down. I read the reviews but thought let's give it the benefit of doubt and try it. Nope I was wrong. this place is horrible. Ended up staying at the Days Inn - which is 1000x better.

There wasn't any breakfast provided. Room was very dirty. Mattresses shouldn't have been provided sleeping on the hard bedframe would have been better. No breakfast. No instructions for wifi. We left in the middle of the night because we couldn't take the filth. That is what we liked.

The location was perfect. The staff was extremely nice.

The hotel was really work down. The toilet ran the whole time, the faucet leaked, the power strip didn't work, the iron was missing, the chair had massive stains. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable.
