- Good base for exploring the North East GA mountains

- The mountain view from our room was outstanding, and the staff and management went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The beds and towels great. We especially liked the hiking trail that led to Laurel Falls.
Cons -
- Limited service, outdated rooms, musty smell, torn carpets, flimsy walls, resort fees! Upstairs room had kids who ran all day long. There were plenty of open rooms available and could have been allocated other rooms so as to not disturb other guests.
- Pool water felt dirty. Hot tub was broken. Very out dated for a resort setting. Paint and wallpaper were peeling. The shower pressure lessened the hotter the water got the hair dryer was full of dust. The wall outlet was burned. I have a picture.
- A little inconvenient that the restaurant was not open during the days of our stay, however, there were some excellent places to eat in the are.
