Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The location is great. Loved the room and front desk staff. Short walk to Olympic Park, stadiums, aquarium and great food and entertainment. 10 feet from streetcar and train station. Water, tea, and coffee in room. Safe, mini-refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, good wifi, lots of non-USB-c plugs and outlets.

Only has valet off site parking, no pool, city noise kept us up on the 7th floor til 2am and we needed to leave at 4am for my work. Area is known for crime and heavy homeless population. You will have to use your key to get in 3 different times to get to your room and once to get out. No room service. TV location is definitely an afterthought and can’t be seen in Bed. Nothing available in room telling about any in the hotel or services and online website less than helpful. Just google it or call front desk.

The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The room and facilities are clean and there are sufficient amenities for a mid-range hotel. Plenty of nearby restaurants.

The location is both good and bad. It is convenient to some good restaurants and a MARTA station is directly across the street if that is what you need. The bad, the location is in the heart of urban life with loud mentally ill homeless people hitting you up for money and making lots of noise. The worst part, do not drive a car there. They charge $52 per night for parking, and even though the valet staff are very helpful, parking, even temporarily, is a pain.

There is no parking. We parked in public parking for one night (within view of the hotel). Our car window was smashed even though nothing was in our car. Would not stay again due to having to use public parking.

My room was ready when I arrived at 7am in the morning (I informed the hotel of this when booking). They offer to extend my checkout time at no additional cost. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room and bathroom (with a bathtub) were spacious and equipped with many amenities, such as an advance coffee machine and an in-room safe large enough to store a 16-inch laptop. The bed was comfortable. Additionally, my room had a nice view of the streets . WiFi was good. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown and right next to the Peachtree Center Station on the MARTA subway's Red and Gold lines. This gives you a direct connection to Hartfield Airport and the High Museum of Art. The Atlanta Streetcar also stops right in front of the hotel. Centennial Olympic Park, home to the Georgia Aquarium and the National Center for Human and Civil Rights, can be reached by streetcar or a 10-15 minute walk. Hotels in the US are generally not cheap. But this hotel offered a reasonable price with good value for money

Breakfast choice was a bit limited during the long weekend after Thanksgiving. Only the cafe was open with a limited menu

Very quiet and beautiful hotel

The staff is polite and considerate. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was clean and comfortable.

This hotel doesn't offer a free premium cable channel for viewing. This is big for me since i don't watch much tv at home and i don't have those apps on my phone. When traveling it's nice to just have that option. Other hotels offer HBO and/or Showtime.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was so kind and the room perfect. An added bonus was that it was only 4 blocks from where our meeting was

After a long and stressful day of our original VRBO getting booked for the wrong date and leaving my ID in Mississippi, the hostess quickly helped accommodate me and resolve the situation and get us in our room. Love the hotel and location.
