- The fact that you can not get to resident floors without a key code

Cons -
- Renting the pool area frequently! Guest unable to enjoy that amenity in the evening on weekends!
- Valet is not the best. It?s a very small area and I had to leave my car in the street blocking traffic waiting until someone was available to take my car into the garage.
- They could put up a map of what is located on each floor. As the check-in desk is not on the main floor, I found myself making a couple of attempts until I forced myself to remember.

Valet is not the best. It?s a very small area and I had to leave my car in the street blocking traffic waiting until someone was available to take my car into the garage.

Staff was great. Nice room. Quiet. In a great place to wander around shops.
Overnight valet parking at night. Free daytime parking.
The room was fine and the manager, Caesar, was absolutely awesome!! However, this was a nightmare because the hotel (Aloft Midtown) cancelled my reservation. They said, that I had not "checked in on time" on the first day, for my two stay....
The initial receptionist was a nightmare... rude, disrespectful, and unkind..... It took the rest of the staff to clean-up her mess and prevented me from sleeping on the streets of Tampa. She was my worst nightmare... Otherwise it was a good stay.
Location
2 different rooms and the heat didn't work
I loved the location!
The rooftop bar was overpriced. 2 drinks cost me $45
Location and cleanliness. Close to airport and central to everything. Lyft/Uber rides avg $11 for wherever we needed to go even to Amalia Arena (skip the mandatory $29+ taxes valet parking)
Poor communication. No information from check in staff check out time, amenities, bar hours, incidental fees, wifi, etc).Temperamental room keys to work the elevator would have you miss your lower room floor just to take a trip to higher floors.
The environment was nice and the location of the lobby was nice as well
The valet parking and waiting for the vehicle to arrive; the elevators were slightly slow.
Cleanliness , ammenities and location
Elevators were somewhat slow especially of the evenings.
Nothing really.
Valet parking price is outlandish. Guests must go to the 6ths floor for check in. Building floors have zero décor, blacked-out ceilings and exposed wiring. ALOFT is just a modern 2 Star hotel. No Continental breakfast, less than Super 8 quality.
Not having to walk past a check in desk every time going in and out of hotel
Barely visible staff, no Wayfinding signs as to where the main hotel entrance is, no signage to let you know checkin is on 6th floor?!?! They ran out of bottled water So I had to walk over to wawa a few blocks away in middle of the night. No room
Noisy hotel
Too many noises thin walls cheap construction no carts for moving in and out no access to vehicle because all valet parking lobby requires a slow elevator ride to level 6 ridulious prices couldn¿t locate my bonbon membership
I loved the area
I did not like that the showers are exposed. There is NO privacy whatsoever.
The decor was nice and very clean and relaxing
Not one thing I personally didn¿t like
The property manager was extremely rude and wouldn’t refund me back my money !
The unit I checked in had a weird smell to it and it wasn’t settling with my body right and it was giving me sinuses problems
Location is great, a lot to walk around and do in Midtown.
My room was dirty and housekeeping never came to clean my room during my stay. The pillows are terrible here.
Breakfast could use a few more options. Maybe pancakes and waffles, bacon
Didn’t know there wasn’t a door to the bathroom, took me by surprise as I was sharing the room with a friend and it was very unexpected
Love the rooftop pool and restaurant. Breakfast staff were super nice. Room was spacious.
I was double billed. I informed the desk clerk when I was checking out. I had paid in advance through booking.com. she told me "oh, that happens all the time!". Took 17 days and multiple escalation to get the second charge removed from my credit card. I never received an apology. The pool bar was closed. The wxyz bartender spent all her time telling me how incompetent her colleagues were, and that she wouldn't eat the hotel food "if it was the last thing available ". Rooftop bartender charged me $21 for a margarita because, he "hand made" it??? I had one earlier that was 14 or 15$. Overall, I do not recommend this property.
Location was nice
Parking and unloading was difficult. Then on check out day, the housekeeping staff for our room, 443 attempted to access our room at 915ish in the morning which startled us. Upon opening the door, no apologies was given from her, she only started asking when we’re leaving. In my 40 years of traveling have i by ever had this happen. I will find another hotel on our next trip to Tampa.
