JW Marriott Tampa Water Street

Clean, beautiful, safe, great location next to convention center and lightning stadium. Awesome amenities, rooftop pool overlooking water. Staff was great to us. Thanks for a great stay!

I loved the location. The view of the arena and the water was amazing.

The rooms needed a mirror outside of the bathroom area. It was hard for multiple people to try to get ready with only one mirror.

The room was gorgeous. The hotel staff upgraded me to a King Spa room that had a huge tub looking out on floor to ceiling windows over the harbor. And they even had minerals for the tub.

The food was mediocre and not warm once it reached the room. I could also hear the comings and goings of other guests loudly from within the room and around the corner.

We were missed lead booking this hotel. I called and asked him for a low floor room. We were told we will be on the fourth floor prior to booking but that was a lie and the room was dirty. The escalator was broken. It was a terrible experience.

We have visited all over Florida but this was our first time staying in Tampa. We enjoyed the convenient location and the rooms were nice and modern. The bonus was the amazing staff.

As you would expect of a downtown area, no free hotel parking. Wifi is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member.

The valet process was frustrating and there was no self park option. We were traveling with our two little daughters and I felt extremely rushed and uncomfortable every time I pulled in to park

The hotel is just beautiful and clean. Central located, next to the trolly station and the staff were so nice and upbeat. They made you feel so welcome to be there.

I absolutely love this hotel. Staff was friendly and professional. Facility was clean. The pool wasn’t overcrowded and very relaxing, enjoyed the daily $30 credit and the extra step bringing a birthday cake to the room. Just perfect! The location is really nice and you can keep yourself busy exploring

Everything. The location, the food, the staff - everything was wonderful. It was very clean and rooms were very comfortable.

Mattress could use an upgrade. Kinda flat & lumpy

Expensive but good

The room only had a mirror in the bathroom. Three of us stayed in the room and the two females couldn't put on their make-up while I was in the bathroom. Most if not all hotels have a mirror on a wall outside of the bathroom. Plus the toilet was separated from the main bathroom by a decorative glass door. A solid door with ventilated fan in the toilet area would have been much more conducive to privacy and function.

It was a great stay, we’ve stayed multiple times. The one off thing was when we were checking out. We wanted a luggage cart to our room. We were told we couldn’t have one. A bellhop needed to come with us and the cart. It was strange since we brought the cart ourselves to the room when we arrived, we were packing up our personal belongings and wanted to pack up the cart due to breakable things we purchased on our stay, and at our leisure . Also we were not planning on leaving that soon and wanted to get breakfast . That didn’t happen due to having a young man with us escorting us. We basically rushed packed our our things that could have broke and left immediately, . I am a Plumbing contractor and have been Plumbing for 20 yrs. I do not need help with a cart on wheels or my luggage. I told this to the woman at the desk, but she insisted that we could not take a cart on wheels to our room, the bell hop said yea that this didn’t make sense. You guys need to leave up to your guests if they need or want assistance. It was off and seemed ridiculous! Multiple guests were pushing their own carts our whole stay.
