We stayed in a king room on the third floor for 3 nights. It was spacious with lots of drawer space. The room was very clean as was the entire hotel. Beware, the side door on the refrigerator, bottom shelf -- the restraining bar does not work! We broke a bottle of wine because it just rolled out! The breakfast was excellent and was the service. We used an Uber to get downtown as parking there could be challenging -- only $8 each way.
We were unaware of the $25 + tax overnight parking fee.

I loved the location and cleanliness
The air conditioning was super loud and annoying and the barn style bathroom door didn't close all the way leaving gaps which was weird

The hotel is very nice, rooms are big
The parking costs 20$ per day and it’s not written anywhere. You just discover it when you check in. My room had a mold stain on the ceiling.Tv it’s not a smart tv so basically it’s useless. There were two hair in the bed and the sheets didn’t smell like clean sheet. The air conditioner was a very old floor model super noisy, it was nearly impossible to sleep well. The pool it’s very small.

The hotel was very nice and clean
$20 for parking and breakfast was not included. I specifically “searched “ for a hotel that included breakfast. I was very surprised that breakfast was an additional $16 per person for breakfast. This was especially disappointing after the parking fee.

Good location and convenient.
We wanted to have a drink at the bar before we left (around 4 p.m.) but the bar wasn’t open. That’s where the football we wanted to watch was on. The front desk staff let us buy beers from the “store” and sit there. Then when we got back (around 10 p.m.), the bar wasn’t open closed. Again, staff let us buy beers and sit at the bar. Then the bartender was great and ended up serving two of us (the ladies) a glass of wine and a cordial. Could only buy bottles at the store. We were taken care of in the end but disappointed that the bar hours weren’t extended on a Saturday night.

The location was nice. The St. Johns River is across the street and can be viewed from the rooms on that side. I didn't do any sight-seeing, because on Wednesday & Thursday, most everything was closed due to Hurricane Milton, including local restaurants and Uber deliveries. The beds & rooms are very comfortable. There were a lot of dogs here during this hurricane evacuation, but all were leashed and well-behaved. The Manager was exceptionally personable and very apologetic about the lack of support staff in the restaurant & kitchen during a full-capacity booking week. Maybe the franchise owner of this Hilton hotel will read this review and do a much better job going forward. Tangible incentives work well when you need additional staffing, for example. In other words, where were you when your restaurant ship sank captain? What could you have done differently to have prevented this horrible customer experience for EVERYONE who patronized your restaurant all week long for breakfast & dinner?
Not the best choice as a FL Hurricane Evacuation destination. Tuesday, 10/8/2024: The franchise-owned St. Augustine, FL Hilton, 1600 N. Ponce De Leon was booked to full capacity because of the Hurricane Milton mandatory evacuations in Florida. There was only 1 person checking people in & out at all times. Often, there was no one available at the reservations desk for long periods. There was only 1 person prepping/cooking in the kitchen and only 1 restaurant server/bartender/order taker at all times all week. From sitting down in the restaurant to receiving your food (whether it was a full steak dinner or just a garden salad) took 2 hours to receive for each guest who placed a food order. Breakfast menu orders also took 2 hrs. to receive. By Thursday, the restaurant was out of every dinner menu item except hamburgers & salads. I checked out Friday morning, so I don't know if the restaurant was closed for dinner or if they still had some hamburgers & salads left.
