Castillo Inn

The location was nice.

The room was like a jail cell. The door did not close all the way and light and sound came in through the door jam. Linens on bed were old. Towels were stained.

The new floors were nice.

Place is being remodeled,paint half off the door and closet, walls had holes and hardware to hang pictures,but no pictures.They tried to make me pay $--- over the confirmed price. After refusing several times,they charged the correct price.Bathroom m

The bed was nasty and had stains on the bed sheets. The floor made my feet black when walking barefoot. I could see daylight through cracks around the door frame. I did not feel safe at all in the hotel. Parking lot small. It is a 0 star Crack hotel.

This hotel had a staircase with a unstable hand rail. The top floor (second floor) had a rusty beat up railing around it. (Thankfu I didn't have any kids with me). Way to expensive for the gross room I got. The toilet seat was unclean I made them clean it

The manager was fantastic. The location was fantastic. There is a live oak tree in the middle of the property that is humongous which was planted as an acorn in 1590.

Old, aged. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay such as one or two nights. Otherwise, go for newer!!!

The Manager owner was very accommodating when we wanted to stay another day he found us another room and my aunt too. It is right in the historic district so you can walk to destination of places to eat and go shopping at all the local stores downtown.

They didn't have a coffee pot in the room would have been nice.

It was close to most things I wanted to see.

First thing is I made a mistake thinking it was another hotel. This place was so outdated, I feel like I over paid for the quality of place I got. No pool, TV screen was very small. It was disappointing to pay --- dollars for a place that built in the 50s//

Great location! And you get free parking!

Considering the current climate and situation in the world I would have liked to see the bathroom cleaner. We found several hairs on the floor and in the shower.

The location is great. The reception man was great. He made many great recommendations, was personable, gave us some coupons...really was helpful.

Housekeeping could be cleaner.

It was not clean. Marks on the toilet, cobwebs, the shower head was grotesque. There were also stains on the sheets.

For the price and location I am happy with our experience. The staff was nice. The rooms are a bit outdated and the bathroom could use a good washing and new shower head but overall it was a good experience.

Needs a roof and fresh coat of paint inside the room. Shower was awful

Good price and location to attractions/Ripley's Train Stop across the street.

Not worth mentioning. Little things here & there are to be expected with a hotel at this cost, but it was an overall positive experience.

The room was clean and the staff was polite. It was a GREAT location. But it is not as pretty as the photos. The room is nice but not up to date. There are NO blow dryers and the A/C is not the best. I was hot at night.

The A/C didnt work that well. And the bathroom was truly out dated

Low cost, helpful management, not too far from downtown.

Street noise, noisy parking lot. Room not very clean, but not horrible. Found a syringe in bedside drawer, management responded and removed it.

It was closer. To historic than what i though .and there were alot of stores to shop around

The parking it was a little dirty. And that huge tree got my car really dirty .

Great location. Walk distance to historic area (10 mins walking).

It's in the middle of the best location there, we were across the street from ripleys believe it or not and also walking distance from restaurants

Don't expect much looks like they are renovating, it's cheap so you get what you pay for a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to wash up and do your business.

It was very near the city. And it was very clean
