Hampton Inn Quincy

Staff were friendly and responsive. It was very clean (except for the mold smell).

The common areas smelled of mold. My room did not smell as bad, but maybe that was due to air fresheners or something covering up the smell. The toilet did not flush well. They should rip out all the carpet and be proactive with maintenance.

Room was nice and big. Staff were great.

Sofa sucked you into uncomfortable sitting position Room darkening shade difficult to keep in track. Kept popping out of track. Recommend removing track altogether at ALL Hilton brands. (Happens at all hotels that have this type of shades.

It was clean and comfortable.

Not pleased with fact that no breakfast was available as expected per their listing. Instead got a useless breakfast bag. Also cost was higher than quoted when booked. Cost was about $11 higher than when reserved.

I got to the floor where the room was located I noticed half of the floor is under construction and tools and dust all over the place,as soon as I enter my room 2 roaches come to my encounter, Staff didn't do anything about it after I called to complaint

The hotel and all it's facilities were clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel was having work done which didn't bother me or disturb me at all.

Whether it was current or previous work the hotel some very poor work done to it. The bathroom door in my room would not stay closed be the knob was a full inch off from the cut out that keeps the door closed. The elevator was a visual mess from what appeared to unsatisfactory prior work, looks like it had been that way a long time.
