Grand Hotel Orando at Universal Blvd

The hotel was run down, the rooms were musty and reeked with mold. The tv was busted, and the outside was unkept and honestly this is not a 3.5 star as advertised. It’s at best 2 stars

Friendly staff. Good location.If all you need is a place to sleep.

It felt dirty... almost greasy. Please, someone do the simple things. Pull the weeds growing between the pavers around and on the pool deck. A little paint goes a long way too. Just run down.

Roaches every day. Made you pay a room service fee and then they only come every other day. Never gave enough towels or wash clothes for 2 people for 2 days. Didn’t make the bed 2 of those trips. Make you pay for parking, on top of that.

The pool was closed. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. They only cleaned the room after several requests the parking and hotel fees are too high

Worst location I've ever stayed. This was not a 3.5 star hotel and barely even a 2 star!! The nightstand and dresser were nasty. There was hair on the sink and the drain for the tub was clogged with hair and lint.

This place was filthy. Used tampons on the ground in the parking lot, black mold on the ceiling, dead bugs stuck to the walls in the bathroom, and hair hanging from the towel holder. The lobby was filled with what looked like homeless people.

Nothing to like about it.

Rude stuff, Very nasty hotel. The worst breakfast ever . Extra 40 4 per day for amenity

Convenience and overall cleanliness and amenities. at the concierge desk was amazing!! It's too bad you don't have a gift shop as well.

I was in Rm 265 initially. The smell of mold was OVERWHELMING!!! I was then moved to Rm 205 which wasn't as bad but still reaked of mold. Mold is incredibly UNHEALTHY!!!!!!!

Stayed 3 nights and the tv did not work until the last night at 12 PM. Did not get towels until also the last night at 12:30 PM.

I was overcharged for the room by $200. The only person who helped me was the one maintenance person who finally got me a new TV for the room after I complained from the time I checked in until the third night.

pillows were paper thin and you could only have one pillow for one person. We like two pillows so two people were not happy with the one. And it was super thin. It smelled of marijuana terribly when we pulled up to our room. checkin took forever

the room smelled, tv did not work and overall this is at best a 2 star hotel not a 3.5 which the Embassy Suites is listed as a 3.5 (that is where we booked in for a stay on the second night)

It was close to my destination, got it last minute, good breakfast

There was no microwave, behind the beds were dirty, they charge a parking fee(never heard of getting charged to park at a hotel that I paid for a room), took forever to check in cuz only 1 staff member even with a long line

Missed my flight and came in a day late, didn’t know I had to notify the hotel I was coming in a day late, so when I checked in they gave away my room, so I had to wait an additional day to check in.

At arrival they charged me $31.5 for extra service ,amenities. I didn’t like that because in my booking everything was paid.

The room smelled moldy and felt damp. I paid a 65 resort fee on top of the reservation and don’t feel like the room was worth it.

I waited 15 minutes to check in because the party in front of me was having trouble. There was a water leak in the bathroom resulting in a thin sheet of water on the tile. There was plaster/paint chips falling from the ceiling. NO HOT WATER in the shower.

Plumbing in bathroom falling off wall, NO microwave!! Morning breakfast there was nasty..Dry food watered down juice gross

During check-in, I was charged a high fee just to park my car — something I only found out after making the reservation. I wasn’t allowed to cancel for free, so I had no choice but to stay and pay the parking fee.

We did not get any housekeeping service in the time we were there (Checked in on Thursday, Checked out Sunday). No toilet paper, had to call and ask for it, and then had to go get it ourselves from the front desk. More like a motel as opposed to a hotel.
