    Pros +

    • It’s across the street from universal. I would have walked if I didn’t pick the weekend the hurricane was there and it was pouring.
    • It’s very close to universal but there’s not a lot of other things very close for food.
    • Clean room, comfy bed, nice pool.

    Cons -

    • After we checked in, the fire alarm went off and there was no staff directing what to do. We ended up walking back to the lobby and they were working business as usual. Then after our first night, we got back and found cockroach nymphs in the room.
    • No continental breakfast, a later return shuttle bus is needed. $30 parking.
    • The door slamming and the hallways are too noisey, you hear everything, elevator, ice machine, kids playing

    Proximity to Universal and Airport

The door slamming and the hallways are too noisey, you hear everything, elevator, ice machine, kids playing

    The beds were super comfortable

Additional fees include parking $30 plus $68 per room while checking in. No explanation on what the $68 was for.

Irs under construction- they charge you $27 to park and there are shipping containers and equipment in the parking lot limiting parking spots. No Pool

    2MichaelPosted on: 9-2-2025

Location to the theme park only.

No idea it was under refurbishment until we arrived. No ability to purchase snacks or water. The vending machines were out of order. The rooms plugs to charge items are all behind furniture, had to rearrange the room to plug things in. No hot water.

No where in my listing mentioned that the building was under renovations nor the fact that your company messed up my booking prior to me coming. My child slept on the most uncomfortable "bed" if you want to even call that a mattress. Absolutely awful!

    3CliffordPosted on: 7-23-2025

First night room smelled bad. Called and they moved me to a jr suite which was much better. Staff was friendly. Shuttle to Universal we were first stop so got a seat as by last stop there was no room to even stand going to parks.

The hotel is being upgraded to a Marriott so the construction is all over the lobby and entrance area. Saws and drills going and dust everywhere. Breakfast is at TGIF for 17.99 buffet that is about as good as you get in a hotel these days.

    Close to Universal

Room had a very strong odor of mildew. It is under construction, which I typically dont mind, but the smell was awful. Parking is also expensive.

    Leaving it

The whole stay. Gave our already paid for room to someone else. Put us in a crappie room with no real apology or compensation

    7Verified guestPosted on: 7-2-2025

A very friendly and nice young lady helped us out when she checked us in. I didn't get her name (no name tag), but it was about 8:30am on Friday, June 27. She was the highlight of our stay.

hope you fix the hallway carpets soon cause it is so hard to roll suitcases with all of the pulled up carpet. (Room 819) In the bathroom, there was no towel rack or hooks at all to hang towels. Didn't expect no lobby amenities at all during renovations.

    Location

There was a day we didn't have any water for hrs with no notices. Another day we had no hot water. When addressed this with staff they we very rude & dismissive. We had a suite & in the rm I was staying the Ac wasn't working.

    The location and the pool

Room was non smoking, smelled like an ashtray in the room and we had a suite. We asked for towels and extra linens but it took forever to bring and when they did they laid them outside the door on the floorr

    5JessicaPosted on: 5-29-2025

    The location

Hidden cost, parking fees, hotel "resort" fees that weren't clear in the booking

    1AudreyPosted on: 5-12-2025

    Easy check in

The pool and game room was closed. And I brought my grandchildren to enjoy those amenities. It was 25 dollars a day for parking which was not told to me until after I got to the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Location, location and the Staff

The mold smell in all the halls and the hotel room doors do not securely close unless you pull and slam the door. The hotel just needs updating.

    7AmberPosted on: 3-11-2025

Location. Staff texting about satisfaction with room at beginning of stay was nice. They did resolve the issue I knew about at that time.

Tv didn?t work the whole weekend, told the front desk and the cleaning staff lead and it never got fixed, breakfast not included as it usually is at this chain

The water was turned off and toilet clogged. Couldn't shower early in morning before flight home. Elevators broken

    2Verified guestPosted on: 2-18-2025

Old & outdated.carpet in the hall was rolled and hard to pull luggage down. The bathroom door wouldn?t shut & paint peeling off of it.Hair all in the bathroom upon arrival. The tub was stained. The ac wouldnt get very cool. Mold painted over around ceiling
