Aloft by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista

We have stayed at this hotel before and it was nice. This time our room smelled strong of bleach when we checked in. Also we had an incident at the Pool where there were several men smoking marijuana and were bothering us. Scared our 14 yr old.

The room was adorable- kind of a modern ikea feel to it and had a nice big marble shower. Great location, clean and friendly staff!

Charge for parking but all the hotels in the area do it.

Loved that they took extra care to make sure we were on the ground floor since we had our pup with us.

That we had to pay to park. Doesn’t add to the experience and actually makes us want to look elsewhere

Location

Rooms not cleaned everyday, entire fifth floor smelled of Marijuana day and night(supposed to be a smoke free hotel), room windows were fogged over the entire time as the window panes are broken.

The fire alarm was accidentally activate in my second night and it was quite disturbing

Location, rate and cleanliness

I have stayed at the location on 2 separate occasions. Inconsistent room amenities available at the point of check-in. Missing iron/steamer on firs visit. Missing blow dryer on second visit. Parking cost is excessive.

It was centrally located in the area in which I conducted business.

A female member of the staff has poor customer service skills. I extended my stay however, she confiscated my room key, until she received confirmation of payment. Though the problem was due to computer error, I was not allowed to retrieve my luggage.

$93 for parking from Saturday to Tuesday.

Location and modern room

Small outside pool. Not like other aloft hotels

Front desk agent was a sweetheart and from Brazil.

Stayed elsewhere for a week. Only needed 1 night here before flight home. Loved everything about the hotel. Checked in around 1A.M. Did NOT Like having to pay $27 to park for 9 hrs I was there. That wasn?t cool

The front desk personnal didn't mention about the parking fee while check-in. Have noticed this on my credit card statement later and surprised.

The price reflected the lower quality of everything.

The TV was difficult to figure out how to turn on, one of the bedside outlets did not work, the shower did not have much hot water on the first night, the room was not cleaned

Clean and quiet. Especially for being in such a busy area.

I thought I was getting a place farther away from how busy Orlando is.

Location, lotion, shower

Bathroom toilet door broken

Didnt spend a ton of time at the hotel but while we were there it was very quiet. Super close to the Disney parks which was the reason for the trip. Lots of food choices close by.

Zero complaints.

Location and size of the room was larger than average

They don't clean the room nor change the linens, that was very disappointing.

Location and design/ style

The room was barely clean with coffee spill on the floor, broken toilet paper holder, and a couch that smells like smoke. The wood pattern vinyl flooring was not well applied to the floor and buckled when you walk on it. The paint was chipped in places.

Beds and room

Some carpet and furniture spot on i

The hotel is centrally located and in an excellent location. I love the architecture and the very modern design of the hotel.

staff went out of their way to let you know that they were not going to accommodate you and that you were inconveniencing them. They would not provide extra washcloths or towels without a 48 hour notice and they had signs posted everywhere stating 24hr

Rooms

They do not tell you thst parking is $26.00 a night.. I don't recommend this Aloft because of that. Hidden charge after you check out
