Pros +
- quiet, clean, soft sheets and comforter.
- Location was good, overall was very quiet and comforable.
- The new management is getting the place to excellence. When I ask/requested they provided w/ kindness and empathy. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good area always maintained and clean.
Cons -
- Breakfast was missing 1 or 2 things most mornings, or they were simply microwaving the eggs to get some available. The pool area was definitely showing some neglect - one broken lounger, and just sort of a sad area accessed out a backdoor fire exit.
- Housekeeper didn't house keep but front desk personnel even do it was late they took care of us. Thank you!!!
- There was a homeless person asking guest for money and cigarettes however night manager told him to leave the property as she said the safety and comfort of guest was her priorty

They daytime front desk staff was so friendly even tho she told me wrong room number and I went up back down and up again, we had a laugh about it. Also night manager (so upset I forgot her name) she was amazing and cared about her guest. Will stay again

Very nice staff, easy access, great breakfast.
The lady at the front desk was very nice and recommended a good place to eat. That is literally the only positive about the hotel. The rest was the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
Everything other than the staff: bugs in the room (multiple types!), dirty/sticky floors, mold on shower ceiling, broken remote, phones did not work, very hot hallways, dirty elevator, the list goes on...
I try to stay at this hotel every time I go to Ocala staff is very friendly and accommodating general manager is a pleasure to talk with
The breakfast needs to be upgraded and the server needs to ensure that there is plenty of hot food until the end of breakfast hours
The location was close to where we had to go he next day.
They need to pay attention to the cleanliness of the rugs in the hallways and stairs they where nasty. Bathtub was slippery when taking a shower accident waiting to happen.
I very much liked the hot breakfast feature. Also the room had a microwave and minifridge . The air conditioner worked very well. I had a view of the pool instead of the parking lot. There was also lemon water and hot coffee available most of the day.
At night there were children making excessive noise in the hallway and outside almost everyday from around 9pm until 3am.Also the parking lot seemed to be a hangout for some of the locals as there were empty cans and even a rubber in the parking lot .
The hotel was clean and quiet.
The hallway A/C unit was really cold. It felt like it was 62 degrees in the hallway.
Door to my room did not work very well, looked like someone had previously broke in the door, and repaired by a child¿. Breakfast was all bread/carb products(bagels, waffles, cereal, etc.), some eggs and sausage but that¿s it. No fruits or vegetables.
Breakfast was weak. You could taste the powder in the scrambled eggs and no fresh fruit. Internet service was slow/poor. Ended up using my phone as a hotspot.
The staff were very friendly. It was a good location for what I needed. I had a car and it was free parking. I needed something small to eat to take some medication and the manager was able to get me a danish.
One elevator at the far end of the corridor so it was just easier to take the stairs. There were a lot of long term occupation and they tended to hang around the front.
My room had a roach infestation... like hundreds! We couldn't sleep, my 3 year old was up all night scared of the bugs!
The rooms were spacious. The breakfast selections were awesome. The rooms were clean, location was great and desk staff were great except for one thing.
The air conditioning was not working properly. Made loud sloshing noise the whole time I was there. I registered a complaint at the front desk, but nothing was done about it. So my sleep was not good. Also a tile was broken in the bathroom behind the door
I guess the price although I would have paid more to stay somewhere nicer so it ultimately isn¿t a big plus to me.
panhandlers in the parking lot twice. The staff wasn¿t rude, but they also weren¿t friendly. Our curtains wouldn¿t close- only the sheer ones so couldn¿t black out the room. Chair was filthy. Room seemed musty. We stay in Ocala often-won¿t stay there
Very sketchy area. Did not feel safe. Will not stay there again on our travel route to the Gulf. Will stay in the downtown square area or closer to I75 next time.
Nothing anymore...bad change..
Dirty..breakfast buffet not good anymore.rooms smells hallways smell.just old and dirty. Just doesn't add up to what the hotel did for years.
I liked it was clean, staff was friendly and easy access
Location, rooms and the fact that they start breakfast early on the weekends just like during the week. Most hotels don't do that and I appreciate it a great deal.
A few of the employees were not very nice. Maybe they were having a bad day.
