Hampton Inn Mt. Dora

The breakfast area is in need of a update. The chairs are wood and material and our very dirty!

The dam door was very hard to open; after getting the green light you had to push very hard to get the door open. The lock needed to be lubricated but after multiple reports at the day of discharge the situation was not resolved

Very clean hotel. Attentive staff: great front desk clerks, and a diligent attendant manning the breakfast buffet bar and lobby.

There is some parking lot/driveway damage due to sinkholes where the drainage grates are located, primary at the back perimiter of the property; therefore it it blocked off from vehicle access. And, there is a sinkhole/pothole damage at front street drain

Multiple hairs of different color and length in shower on arrival. Floor in bathroom was disgusting. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Won?t stay at a Hampton Inn again.

The room rate was a good value, the breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, especially for the hotel star rating.

Friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast was very good. The hotel was quiet - no trouble sleeping even with a room facing a major automobile artery.

The staff was super friendly and willing to make our stay welcoming. The hotel's proximity (to town, 441, our friends' home) to where we needed to be was wonderful! Breakfast was good and the room was clean.

For a queen size room, it was awfully small. Booked the room for my parents and myself and trying to use a luggage cart or move around proved challenging. Would mostly recommend for solo or couple travelers.

Staff was really nice and professional

The beds were uncomfortable; the room needs to be more sound proof. You can hear other guests in their rooms talking and laughing late in the night. Did not sleep comfortable. The beds needs to change. Also, the desk is right next to the A/C.

The breakfast

This hotel was way over priced. This is a $-- a night hotel at best I paid over $--- for this place. Oh yeah and hair on the sheets

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fan in the room was noisy and the air conditioner did not keep a level temperature in the room.

It was so new and the staff were so attentive. I really am happy we stayed at this hotel!

I would like to have had granola to put on my yogurt; but really, that's a nit. Nothing to complain about at this property!

Location

Pool hours too short. Shower water value bad. Low water pressure

Location terrible, the air conditioner was extremely loud and the bed hurt my back

Courteous staff

The pool was in a very poor location. It was not heated. The pool area was near a smoking area. It was not at all an appealing pool environment. The entrance near the pool was dirty.

The bed was uncomfortable and the noise from hall and adjacent rooms was very loud

Clean, quiet, and Convenient location to Antique Show.

The hotel must be saving money from limited breakfast, due to the virus. It should at the very least, heat the pool.

Really needed to de-stress and the Hampton Inn helped us do that. The room was absolutely perfect. It was clean and spacious. Staff at front desk was very helpful. The location is great. LOVED OUR STAY!! We will be back soon.

Clean and comfortable room. Nice accommodations with comfy pillows. Located just off hwy. We took Uber into Downtown Mt.Dora, only cost $6:00. Staff friendly. Breakfast was hot & tasty with good coffee.

Outdoor pool is salt. Love it. No awful chlorine. No strong smells from cleaning products.

Obviously some traveler brought their dog in. Hubby has major allergies. Hotel can't really be held responsible but it would be nice if we could just stay 1 night somewhere there has NOT been a dog.
