This Marathon resort is opposite Florida Keys Country Club, 2.3 mi from Sombrero Beach, and 17 minutes’ drive from dolphins and sea lions at Dolphin Research Center. Pros +
- Free use of Bicycles/Kayaks. Check In experience was good. Lobby (only) was clean & with a beach feel.
- Not much to like.
- Our room was very nice. The staff were very friendly. The location was good close to shopping and eating. The pool area and outside bar looked very nice although we didn¿t use it.
Cons -
- The waffle maker is cleaned daily? It was filthy. Waterdiispenser at the cont. breakfast was dirty. Would not recommend ordering food at this property even though you receive a $25 gift voucher. None of the balconies overlook the Bay/ Water.
- No hot water in first room the 2nd one they gave us was only warm water. Grounds around the buildings not kept up with junk under them. Food for breakfast was not really good.
- We stayed at a bad time. The breakfast area was under construction and the makeshift breakfast was cold. We ended up going out. We also happened to stay when the weather was rainy and cool.
