Zota Beach Resort

Location and pool

The restaurant food was just average. Also a lot of people including myself gripe about the resort fee. I believe the resort be included internet but the hotel I believe was advertised as having free Internet on one of the websites?

very clean, great location

Had poor service at hotel?s restaurant our first night. Waitress was clueless, forgot our entree orders then tried to overcharge us for the wrong bottle of wine. Hostess was snarky when we complained.

Pool/ beach

It was at half capacity we requested maybe better room ( facing parking lot) or upgrade was denied

Little pricey

Valet was fabulous and friendly!!

No reasonable smoking area. Beach was off limits as well. Granted smoking is out of style but some enjoy a cigar on vacation and to not have an area to sit down given the huge available acreage is somewhat unreasonable.

Zota is fine. It is more of a couples or business type of lodging. The valet is but should not be mandatory. Mandatory valet is always a hassle when you can literally walk to your vehicle faster. Overall, there are better choices than Zota for same money

Nice pool, good restaurant, beautiful beach.

Construction next door was loud on the beach.

Beds were terrible . Had to wait almost hour for breakfast each morning.

I liked the location, decor, etc

The breakfast was of poor quality, you payed like you went to first watch but you got frozen French toast sticks

Everything, complimentary valet hustled to get my car, pool food is great and the server was on spot , the folks on the beach set is up w chairs a umbrella at our request. Room was really nice Overall cannot express enough how great our 4 day stay was !

On the water and completely remodeled.

The barn doors are very loud, could hear them opening and closing in other rooms early all morning.

rooms were old, worn and there was a terrible ant problem that they sprayed when we complained, but it did not remedy the issue. Ants were in the beds, walls, counters, floors. Woke to find ants crawling on our toothbrushes during the night.

Leaving

Extremely rude front desk woman. Excessive bleach used in the room still have rashes as well as migraines from a one night experience

Everything! Such great location, very relaxing, food at Vientos restaurant was AMAZING! Will definitely return in the future.

The waitresses at the restaurant would not come back to our table to check on us during breakfast. We literally had to stand up and find someone to assist us in merely requesting more water.

Excellent facilities and staff.

We experienced Sugar Ants around the coffee bar in our room. Management sprayed three times, to no avail. Upon informing the front desk at checkout of the continued problem, we were told, its that time of the year for Sugar Ants. Ants 3, Mgt. 0.

Service, staff, and cleanliness..were excellent

The location on the beach is beautiful and relaxing.

Staff seemed mostly disinterested and harried. Also had issues, such as a shower that looked not cleaned and water did not come out correctly, alarm clock remaining set previous guests-wen off at 6 am. Front desk just said sorry and didn't seem to

It was beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean and wonderful pool. The pool bar staff was very nice and attentive. Room service was fast.

Location was terrific & the infinity pool was wonderful.

No hairdryer and no Microwave (which was promised up for the room type.
