It was better than the pictures. The place is impeccably clean. More over the grounds were very well maintained. It takes a lot to wow me. There were so many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful water’s edge. Wish we could have used the kayaks-to windy

Pristine grounds, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated suite, extremely comfortable bed, refreshing/perfectly chilled salt water pool, and WONDERFUL staff. Perfect location for watching the sunset.

The view is amazing and well worth the stay in and of itself. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My only true complaint is that the pillows were quite uncomfortable. There were two sets of pillows and the first set was tough and stiff. The second set were lumpy and soft, so my head would basically be on the mattress when I put my head on them.

Little apt bungalows nestled next to water access and close to many food options. Pickleball court was a nice add on.

Quaintly secluded from the road, only heard the sound of the waves and water. Room was nicely decorated and very clean. The studio provided everything you needed. Great value with plenty of recreational options, swimming, kayaking or snorkeling. Easy check in, very friend and helpful.

This place is so quaint and beautiful. The cottages feel like they’re tucked away in a jungle, and in just a few steps you will reach a beautiful sandy area overlooking the water. Beautiful views, relaxing, great amenities like kayaks, pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, and hammocks. Our favorite part was soaking up the sun and enjoying all the flora and fauna surrounding the property. You can walk across the street to restaurants. Parking is convenient and plentiful. The cottage was the perfect size for two people.

Shower could have been a bit cleaner, couch was very worn.

Have a mat when you walk inside your room to wipe off your feet. It rained and the outside mat just wasn't enough to keep ourfeet clean.

We concur with the online consensus... Kona Kai is one of the best! Great location in Key Largo! Super friendly staff ... Kathryn was da bomb! So helpful with insider, local info! Our room was newly remodeled, everything first-rate, super comfy. Lush, tropical grounds, fun gallery in the office, botanical gardens Lon grounds! Nice bay front waterfront, with nice dock, water sports included. We needed a late check out, no problem! An awesome place to stay, reasonably priced, great staff! Highly recommend!

Cozy cottages set amongst lush landscaping some with water view. Pool, jacuzzi, lounge beds and hammocks are perfect for a relaxing stay. For the more active there’s kayaking, tennis and pickle ball. Staff were amazing and helpful with anything we needed.

The mattress and pillow are not very comfortable but ok for a one night stay. I called few times before our arrival ( during business hours) and the morning of our arrival. I also left a VM the day before our arrival but nobody picked up or called us back. It a big deal, but since you asked…
