Located on the waters of the Florida Bay, the Islander Bayside Resort is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. This resort features a kitchen in every townhouse and an outdoor pool. A flat-screen TV is included in every guest townhouse of this Islamorada resort and all units have free WiFi and laundry facilities. Kitchens offer a microwave, refrigerator and an oven. Bicycle rental is possible on site and various water sport activities are located nearby. There are various dining options less than 1 mi from this resort and Windley Key Fossil Reef Park is 5 minutes’ drive away. Long Key is 15 minutes’ drive from the property.

Pros +
- The villas are quiet and spacious. Pool area is incredibly scenic and also quiet. Access to the sister property that has all of the action.
- There was plenty of room for our family, I loved the townhome setup. There was a kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, and you can even do laundry if needed.. Decent location and a great, heated pool! Lovely landscaping, too.
- Great setup!! Enjoyed the townhouse so much better than a standard hotel room setup!!!
Cons -
- It would be nice to have a little bit more infrastructure at the villas. (e.g. bicycles or kayaks or food/drinks).
- Everything (trim, paint, etc) was getting pretty worn out and needs some sprucing up in my opinion. Also, our dryer didn't work properly.
- Beach area is very small.
