Our room did not have a table and chair for using a laptop. Electrical outlets were only on one side of the bed. If one person used a CPAP machine, the other person was unable to plug in a book light and read, or charge a cell phone.

Very clean, modern, attentive staff, shuttle to/from hospital

The staff was very friendly, loved the floor to ceiling windows, great bathroom and amenities. Restaurant was excellent.

Only complaint is that the sheets were a bit scratchy.

Minimalist furnishings in a small room. Platform bed low to the ground. Didn¿t find value for the $ spent.

It took approximately 45 minutes to check in. It wouldn't take the card that we booked it with. It took trying three other credit cards before it finally let us check in.

I love the restaurant and bar down stairs and the valet parking.

The restaurant not being 24 due to COVID but it¿s understandable. Hours should slowly adjusted as things gets better.

Modern clean very good taste

It was 28oF in Gainesville but my room had no heat. I called the front desk and it took 10 min twice to get an answer. They said that they would correct remotely, but did not. They then sent a tech who was unable to repair. I slept at 63oF. Next day, nothing was repaired : 10 more min again waiting for an answer on the phone but nothing, no heat. As it was a little warmer, the room was at 65oF. No apologies, nothing and the staff was not helpful. Not very serious. Too bad as this would be a great hotel.

Fitness room not clean

Front desk not answering phone, needed to take shuttle back at night. Ended up walking as no one picked up the phone. Restaurant not answering phone. You need to offer room service.

Location to campus was great.

For the outrageous price it is not worth it. On top of having to pay for valet and coffee, no value at all in the price besides location.

Smell was overwhelming in hallways was pleased that the smell didn't extend into our room.Mattress was the worst mattress in any hotel that I have ever stayed at. It needs to be changed out!! Im 50 years old and have stayed in a lot of hotels. Im not that picky either.Hair dryer was disgustly dirty, I used tissues to handle it.

Everyone was incredibly nice. Diana was super helpful with some of my questions regarding town and booking. William was super charismatic at the coffee bar.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Check in was super easy and fast. Staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. We were able to text in the morning for the valet to get our car so that it would be ready when we got to the lobby.

The restaurant

The Hotel Eleo is understaffed! We could not get extra sheets or towels the day we got there and our room was NOT cleaned the day after. We stayed two nights and it was never cleaned.During check in there was a line of 5 people.

Good food and service at dinner and breakfast The room was large and very comfortable, the coffee machine a plus

Not to pay for the valet parking since there is no other way to park the car

The bed was too low and hard the ac blew right on our head causing me to have cold symptoms and a NAS headache We ended up sleeping at the door of the bed which resulted in back aches when we complained we were told that next time ask for a room on the lake side or city side can’t remember It wasn’t a good experience considering why we were there my husband was nervous enough only to not be able to sleep or get good rest

Clean rooms. Very quiet. No sounds from neighbours.Bar personnel very accommodating. Stayed past closing hours.
