Haven Hotel - Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

It was threadbare but clean and only four minutes from the airport. We had an early flight and only needed a place to sleep, not a resort property.

The bathroom sink was so tiny you could barely use it without spilling water.

The location was an easy Uber/lyft ride from airport as well as downtown Ft Lauderdale. It was comfortable for our needs. Super close to cruise port. The staff was very friendly and very attentive.

Not much around the hotel its self. The windows had no curtains and the court yard has ¿patio¿ lights, so it seemed like dawn in the room all night. Made it hard to sleep at times.

Comfortable accommodation; good facilities.

It was in an out of the way location. Had to walk about 1 mile to reach food stores and places to eat.

Convenient location

It was VERY small, breakfast was rotten fruit & a snack cake in a paper sack, the room had damage that was painted over but not fixed, there were ants everywhere, & the water pressure in the shower was horrible.

The location, it’s literally right next to the airport.

Where to begin....the room was extremely small which would have been fine for a 10 hour stay except for the state of disrepair. Only one light worked, the door almost didn’t close and was almost impossible to lock. The door bottom was rotted out.

All of the staff we met were very nice. The hotel provided what we needed for a 2 night stay. The staff accommodated us when needed and we appreciate them. Our room was clean. The microwave and refrigerator worked well and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was filling. We enjoyed our stay!

I was surprised at the size of the bathroom sink. It's very small. The shower was great though!

The closest to airport entrance. The breakfast was at 8am so too late as we left for an early flight. Bill recommended Lesters 24hr Dinner not far and we loved it. The motel was very clean for an older remodel. The bed high but very comfortable.

Had to move rooms as #15 had poor blinds and bright lights right outside and room was VERY small with no bedside lights. Second room had lights and roomier but still small.

This motel is perfectly located for the airport and cruise ports. I appreciated the quick grab-and-go breakfast, clean sheets, strong WiFi, and a warm shower after traveling. The staff were smiling, helpful, and seemed to be available around the clock. Great value for a comfortable stay. The only issue I experienced was related to another guest who repeatedly raised concerns about the surrounding area during check-in and later complained about the breakfast offerings. If you’re afraid of life, maybe don’t leave your habitat, and there are restaurants galore people, it’s clearly a grab and go breakfast. It’s not meant to fill you up, just to make sure your stomach isn’t rumbling. There are many luxury hotels all over Ft. Lauderdale if amenities and facilites are what you desire. I love this place and they are always a good stay for those with travel needs. This whole interaction did not reflect the quality of the motel or its staff, who handled the situation professionally.
