Included amenities, e.g. bikes, snorkeling gear, beach umbrella usage. Staff very accommodating and polite. Very walk-able with good restaurants nearby.

Rooms are a bit tight, which makes the sliding doors that double as room separators vital. Unfortunately no locking mechanisms, including bedroom door, were functional.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! everything is at the foot of your door. Very clean, very modern, beach is beautiful, restaurants walking distance! Hotel employee was so nice and such a great host! He went over and above thank you so much!

Johnny and his staff are just lovely. We arrived late and my partner was very unwell. They helped us tremendously and made our situation much easier.Comfy bed, plenty of storage, useful little kitchen, good sofa and the most fantastic views over the pool and beach. The pool was nice and refreshing and the beach was only steps away.When he is well again, we will be back.

-the location, couldn't be better honestly. You wake up basically at the beach, and you're 3min walk from the main street with bars and restaurants - Before going there I saw the comments and a lot of people mentioning John and his mom, and now I understand why, they're super nice, super helpful, and feels like you're at home.-There's nothing this place doesn't has for you: name it, they have it. They have sunscreen, after sun, shampoos, books, cards, cold water if you need and then beach towels, umbrellas for everyone plus beach chairs, but proper big ones not the foldable ones so its very comfortable to spend a full day there. Also you have bikes there and you can use it (first come first serve basis), and they even have an ice machine. Honestly just everything for a beach vacation.- Room has nice AC -Would be back here for sure!

-We liked everything, if i could say something that we didn't love is just the fact that the room we stayed is maybe not appropriate for 4 adults, as the sofa bed is not very comfortable at all so I guess those rooms should be maximum 3 people or 2 adults and 1 kid, but of course to have it cheaper people at least have the chance to book it for 4 adults which we appreciate it, but expected better quality for the sofa bed.

A little pricy in comparison to other hotels. Our bathroom door was also a sliding pocket door and it would always get stuck. You could not get up in the night or early morning to go to the bathroom without waking up everyone in the room (and possibly the room next door).

I loved the location. When u book just make sure you know what room you’re getting by checking the website. Make sure you let John know if your flight is going to be late so they can make arrangements since they close at 5. I didn’t know we would be delayed however, John came right out. KAT was so pleasant and accommodating. My husband and I really enjoyed our anniversary there. Can’t wait to come back with my family.

I do wish the pool stayed open later.

Perfect spot with lovely private beach area and pool. Well-appointed rooms with mini kitchen! We could easily have spent a week.

Cute 1950 era motel that has been rooms remodel and updated. A nice suprise with all the upgrades and highend updates. Steps to the pool and a priviate beach. Would definitely book again. This is only 2 blocks to the best bars and restaurants in Lauderdale by the Sea!

Johnny and his mom, the owners, were so accommodating. Anything we needed, we could count on! Free waters the whole trip which was a huge perk. We even got to check in super early due to nobody being in the room. Also because our departing flight was later, we were able to keep our bags in the office and still enjoy the private beach and chairs. Couldn’t have really asked for much more. Definitely will be back!

Location! Walk a few steps and you find yourself at Lauderdale by the sea center where restaurants and stores are. And being directly on the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

No oceanfront rooms with balconies

The property is exceptionally cozy super modern and clean. Accessible to great entertainment and restaurants. The beach is amazing and just a few steps away.

I liked everything about the place.

Johnny was also very nice and accommodating for the most part. Dillon carried in our bags for us and was also very nice and accommodating the day we checked in. I was overall pretty pleased, but I have to be honest, the shampoo thing kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

For the amount we paid per night, I do have a complaint. We stayed 5 nights. You are allowed sheet changes and towel changes, and we asked for zero sheet changes and clean towels only 1 time, so obviously, we are not over consumers. There were 2 in our party both with long hair. We like to get 2 showers, usually per day 1 in the morning and 1 after the pool or beach. We had a TOTAL of 12 shampoo and conditioners before we were told 2 days prior to leaving that we "used the shampoo and conditioner excessively and could have no more". I am not sure what everyone else thinks but I have NEVER been told that at ANY place we stayed before, especially a place for $300 a night. It was not a huge deal, we went across the street to Walgreens and got shampoo and conditioner for the last 2 days. I really thought about this for a long time before I posted a review because I don't usually complain and I DO NOT want to be a Karen but man, seriously? There was also a stinky smell in our room for the 1st few days, it was a partial blockage in the toilet or shower, not sure, but it smelled like rotten eggs. Johnny got it fixed it very fast. The plumber was notified as soon as I brought it to Johnny's attention and then he also stayed late to clean the bathroom to make sure it was sanitary which I appreciated.
