Green Island Inn

This felt like a hidden gem. It is not a corporate type of hotel, very personable where you feel more at home than in a tiny hotel room. The room itself was great, convenient to have a full kitchen, amazing shower and lots of space.

The AC wall unit aggravated some allergies but did not cause a negative experience.

Cozy, and quiet, but outdated. We stayed for a 7 nights, and no one offered us to change our linen or clean towels. Room was clean, but outdated, with stains on the walls and rotten holes in the bathroom threshold. Needs some work, but nice place.

Location was fine. Landscaping was pretty.

Cleanliness was very poor. Dead bugs smashed all over walls and ceiling, dust, grime. Broken facet handle and constant leaking. Un-lockable dead bolt so did not feel secure. Painful bed with 100% polyester sheets (who wants to sleep in a hefty bag?!).

The best part is the property had multiple plant breeds and paths thru the foliage that was pretty cool. Clean pool and grill. Walking distance from beach.

Our room was broken into during the day (iphone was stolen), then the deadbolt was locked. We had no key to the deadbolt, so we had to find a new hotel at 2AM. Staff was incompetent and unprofessional. Other guests were sketchy and trashy. DO NOT STAY!!!

I try not to be to harsh in my assesmetnts but the room needs a good scrubbing and disinfecting. New paint would help too.

The property was very clean and in a great neighborhood near the beach. Very nice!!

It looked a little sketchy on the outside, but the people there were welcoming and everyone was nice.

Everything was outstanding from customer service from the beginning to the end. It was a very good experience. The only thing I would have to say is the bed was a little bit hard, but that would be just personal preference for people.

Very comfortable and clean. Newly renovated. Staff was very accommodating. Nice outside areas.

Nothing, really

Even though it didn't look like much from outside, inside was spacious, modern, superclean studio with big bed, comfy mattress, well equipped kitchen and updated bathroom. Plenty of free parking and heated pool was also a big plus. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Staff was nice and attentive-a welcome capuchino cup was a nice surprise. Definetely, will stay there again.

Everything was perfect

A gem. Looks a bit rustic- but very clean pool& palapas with bbq tables chairs.

Room was very nice. Loved having a kitchenette for the stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach and they had chairs and umbrellas to use during out stay.

Exterior needs some work, but don’t let it fool you as interior is newer.

It was a fantastic location and very clean AND very quiet.

I just didn’t recall receiving instructions on the code to the main gate -a couple leaving informed us re the code.

The room is amazing, large, and a full kitchen. The location is awesome - just a couple blocks from the beach and walking distance from a grocery store.

Property is dated, as in a throw back of years gone by. It is well kept, clean as a whistle. The people who own/ run/ work at the property are FANTASTIC!! They'll go out of there way to be helpful and accommodating. We even had the owners Mom bring coffee and toast etc to us unexpectedly. Very nice place to chill, and close to the beach. We'll definitely be back!!

Loved the remodeled unit and proximity to the beach.

All was great. It’s not the 5 star glittery Miami hotel. It’s a real family friendly motel, I’d stay with my family again.

It had a very comfortable cozy feeling. I definitely would come back again. I would like to spend a week there. It had a kitchen and all the necessities you would need. The host was very accommodating with all that we needed.

Stove was a little outdated and it was a little way away from things to do. Upside the water Taxi was close by.
