I like the location of the Resort

The room has several issues. oven doesn't work, Fire Alarm beeping in Main bedroom, very little hot water, TV remote doesn't work, oven handle loose, carpet is filthy, and most businesses have closed next to resort.

Balcony was great. It had a kitchen.

We found a couple bugs in our rooms. Someone did come in and spray. It didn't work. We had paid for a king bed but got 2 queen size. There was construction on the left side of our rooms.

The property was lovely. Beautiful and clean lobby and the staff was very accommodating.

My first unit was deplorable! Filthy! bed bugs! The unit should never be rented out…never. Changed to another room which definitely was better and cleaner. There were 7 of us staying at your facility. My unit was the least attractive, the only one w/o a table to sit at. That said, the second unit was much cleaner than the first.

The facility itself is very nice. The double charges for the resort fee, not nice.

The 80 dollar Resort Fee, I was forced to pay twice. I paid the 80 dollar Resort Fee once during the initial booking then, while I was checking in, the Ocean Walk Resort staff forced me to pay the 80 dollar resort fee a second time as “the third party” (booking.com/extra Holidays) are not allowed to charge the fee. The manager when I checked in told me to go after Booking.com to get my first 80 dollars back. Booking.com said the resort had to return the 80 dollar resort fee. I tried to resolve this again with the property while checking out and the manager then agreed to return the 80 dollars later in the day. Needless to say, I’ve been home 900 miles away from Ocean Walk for a few days now and neither Booking.com nor Ocean Walk has returned the 80 dollar Resort fee I was charged twice.

I liked the pools and the lazy river.

I did not like that while they had signage everywhere that lounge chairs and tables with shades cannot be reserved, it wasn’t enforced. It was impossible to find any chairs that had shade because people put a pool towel to hold the chairs. I also witnessed a guest have a medical emergency and another guest give life saving cpr- the employees didn’t seem to be trained to handle an emergency. Maybe all employees need to get cpr certified.

Our tv, phone and internet did not work during our stay.

I wanted a 2nd or 3rd floor room, they tried to give me 13th floor. I said no, the lowest they could give me was 7th floor. I took it, but was very unhappy with that. We could not enjoy the balcony because it was too high.

I stay at Wyndham every year for last 10 years. The location and facility is great!

Floor was sandy and dirty, not enough towels stocked for 7 people, no usual supplies/niceties stocked like my son's room.

Check in was a rat race, took forever to complete.Staff was rude and thought it was funny to send us from one end of the property to the other looking for a luggage cart to take our belongings to the 14 floor, when they had some in the lobby, but they were for the “property owners.” Never did find one or get help. Had to make multiple trips to our car in the parking garage. Room was not what we booked, booked a king bed and got 2 double beds. For almost $500 a night after all the added resort fees, this property was not worth it! Very disappointed and will NEVER stay here again. Stayed here in the past and have never been treated this poorly as we were this time. I don’t know what’s changed but it’s not good.

Check in, they want you to go to different desk for different keys and bracelets. And the $250 deposit doesn’t get returned to your checking account for 30 days.

We’ve been coming here for years!! This place is beautiful and the staff are amazing! Waking up to the sound of the waves is our favorite part❤️❤️. Very clean. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

The location was great. The hotel itself in the lobby and outside was very clean and inviting.

The room 805 South Tower had a wet moldy smell. When we got there we had to ask for maintenance to come because the slide door would not open to the balcony. I then went in the restroom and noticed a moldy board behind the toilet. Then it was a tub shower combo and not a walk in shower. I would think by now it would be standard in most hotels like in the Hilton where we normally stay. My husband is disabled and suffers with knee problem. Having that tub was not the best for him . There was black hairs strands of hair in the tub, on the floor and in the sink. The bedroom had a weird old smell to the furniture that was in there. The TV in the bedroom was super small. I couldn’t change my room because check-in was hell. I went from getting my room key to being ask to join a presentation, yet we never signed up for that. I notice that the people who did sign up received better treatment and the lady before me received an upgrade. We just tried to make the best of our stay. When I check out the guy at the front desk ask me how was my stay and I explain all the issues, and all I received was I’m sorry I will let someone know.

The only good thing that I have to say about the Wyndham OWR, is the location.

Where to begin?..the property is undoing a renovation so it was only half full ( according to the staff at the desk) my wife and I arrived with a vehicle and a motorcycle. They said it would cost us $540 for an additional pass to park the MC even though there was plenty of empty spaces. No Wi-Fi, the room was not clean, the door handle to the balcony had been reattached with sheet metal screws and it would not lock. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was covered in mildew. The A/C stopped working on our final night. Lastly, the security staff were rude
