Econo Lodge Cocoa Beach - near the Port

The hotel was nasty, they was blood on the bedding and shower curtain. The door deadbolt didn’t work.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Very out dated bathroom sink had several cracks. Get what you pay for

Close to the beach and port.

Wasn?t that clean. But it did its job as a one night stay before going to port. Also door was very hard to use.

it was dirty, had bugs, a hole in the bottom of door, and no breakfast!

hot water heater at check in was advised and would not have got water for two days .

I had to switch room do to both beds having stains and makeup on the pillows and bed sheets. Once moved to the other room I was reassured that the sheets were new but after further examination of the bed I found a bed bug & asked for a refund and left.

Location

The refrigerator was loud. Especially during the night. One of the beds squeaked when the person moves around . And it was a second floor and didn't know it until we got there and hit bring our luggage up the stairs being there was no elevator. We stayed

I paid for a room for my daughters birthday so her and her partner could stay safely after being on a casino cruise. She arrived and they wouldnt let her check in because they wanted an initial $100. Nowhere on the site was this made known.

Only thing I like was the location

The room had bed bugs The door was rotted out at the bottom and the coffee pot exploded

This hotel had all the conveniences you want: microwave, a safe, comfy bed and pillows, hairdryer and updated bathroom. Room was clean, safe neighborhood to walk and a large grocery store within walking distance. I would stay again if in the area.

The decor of the room is dark and would truly benefit with walls painted a lighter color and colorful bedspreads. The building itself is old but presentable.

The staff was extremely friendly

There were multiple stains on the sheets and bedding. The air quality was poor and caused some respiratory issues for us

Price was decent compared to others. Cable tv was good

Door lock didn¿t seem very safe. No chain lock from inside and door didn¿t close well. Couldn¿t use safe cause battery indicator came on and then display would die.

Price was good. Staff was helpful.

The room was scary and nasty, front door looks like the room has been broken in and not fixed, security lock did no work, door close but didn't provide me security, and I was not going to pay 3 times the price for another room, bathroom? Yuk!! ¿¿

The location was nice.

I filtered my hotel selection by continental breakfast. When I arrived I discovered the hotel does NOT have breakfast. This was hugely inconvenient as I have 5 kids.

I made a mistake & reserved a hotel night before I actually arrived in Melbourne. They refuse to give me another room because my reservation was for the night before. they could do me a favor and just let me stay anyway since I paid

When I booked, I said expect the worst and hope for the best. I was very surprised when I went to my room and it was in great condition. It was clean, organized; Definitely not what I was expecting for the star level I chose. I will definitely book again

Musty smell in the reception area.
