The Palmetto Inn

The hotel was nicely located. You could walk to most places.

The fact that there was no one working at the hotel to ask any questions we had. We had to check in at a different hotel. There were also roaches in the room.

Location. the opportunity to check in early. The suite selected on site was not representative of what we got. Perhaps it was because the suite we thought we were getting wasn't available for early check in.

Dark rooms, dark furniture (except the bathroom), bare bulbs, layout, no hot water for a morning shower.

Location to downtown

I was Charged an extra $10 from what my itinerary says. Nobody ¿knows¿ how it happened, not sure if certain staff members are slippin an extra $10 in thinking nobody will notice & pocketing themselves. I did speak with somebody else & they corrected it

Quiet, clean, and spacious.

The bathroom in the middle was a little awkward but it didnt really bother us.

The Inn needs new paint and carpet and an overall revamp to freshen it up. It could be great with some decorating in the right areas. Also, no mirrors in room and no Blow dryer on the property,

Location: 3 blocks walking distance to the beach and 1 block to the city center. Few cars: locals move around in golf carts. Rooms recently remodeled and were freshly painted, fridge and AC wall unit were new; linens and towels were of resort quality.

Bathroom is not ac, ac was all room or window, which was good for those areas. The bathroom was very hot.

Didn't leave sheets for pull out couch. A family adult had to sleep fully clothed on the unmade couch.

Check in was a nightmare apparently it's a game they like to play because I heard it from other guests when I was there. You don't get the check in text until you're already at the place and find out that you have to drive like four miles back up the causeway through traffic to check in at another location. When I?Arrived a little bit agitated at the other location.I was met with grief from the man that was working the front desk, He was argumentative with questioning on my phone number and trying to make the inconvenience of the check in somehow my fault. I've been in hospitality for years and this is gotta be one of the worst scenarios.It was almost intolerable if I wasn't so exhausted from traveling.I might not have stayed there I felt that I was experiencing reverse racism by the man at the desk.It was a horrible experience. When another man came out as some sort of a manager to straighten out the situation it went from bad to worse. When I expressed my displeasure with the woman that I initially dealt with things really went Downhill. They were all combatative.... period one of the most discerning things about the property itself. Was the moldy dripping? Drain from the sink dripping into the cupboard over the pots and pans it was disgusting. Also, the AC unit had mold growing all over the back of it.I was wondering why my sinuses were bothering me. They did say they were gonna credit Me back a hundred dollars but that never happened either.

the location is nice

Bed up against wall,therefore one had to crawl to bottom or crawl over other person. no shower caddy to hold soap ect. only one towel rack, no where else to hang linen. no linen provided for washing dishes, no drying raack for drying dishes.dresser in closet you could only use one side. door disabled other side, need to put shelving to put clothing up insted of old dresser

Bed was comfortable. Basic room. Kitchenette was handy for breakfast. Pricey, but clean and close to the town and beach. About what I expected.

The location was perfect and check in was easy. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Needed more decorations ( not one picture on the wall) and more glasses, plates, silverware and wine glasses.

Proximity to shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Property is very old and basic. It’s location is it’s only saving grace.

The location. Right in the middle of town.The staff was very accommodating and exceptional.

Didn't like that I had to go to a hotel 3.5 miles away to get a key. The shower water pressure was low.Decaf was the only available coffee.The room was somewhat dated but that didn't bother me, just an observation.

The bed was comfortable; huge tv but some difficulty with remote. Would have been good to have some instruction booklet in property re. Certain things. Old property but had been refurbished.

From website difficult to know which room we were booking…..confused about layout of property. it’s ok for short stays. We did not cook in—-fully functional kitchen however.

The space was clean and well appointed. It’s an old home and has quirks you’d expect from a home of that age. It is well located to walk to everything in Boca Grande.

Location was great..lot of room on bottom floor
