This all-suite hotel, located in the center of Washington D.C., is a 15-minute walk to the White House and Lafayette Square. The hotel features spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens. Each suite at the Washington-Downtown Homewood Suites offers a separate living area with a sofa bed and a fireplace. Two cable TVs with HBO and free Wi-Fi are also provided. Kitchens include a 2-burner stove, dishwasher, and full refrigerator. Homewood Suites Downtown-Washington provides a hot breakfast every morning and a free grocery shopping service. Guests have free access to the modern gym and the laundry facilities. The Smithsonian Institute, Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial are all within a 10-minute drive of the Homewood Suites Washington Downtown. The Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) and the National Zoo are both 5 minutes away.

- Waffles were cold
- Hotel breakfast was not good
- The water from the shower ( handicap accessible) spills over to the bathroom floor . They need a longer plastic shower curtain to keep the water in .
