Pros +
- Everything. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful, the room was clean & stocked with toiletries & towels, & the location is near everything (grocery, metro, restaurants, bars, clubs), & there was even free water & coffee in the lobby.
- Loved the hotel is just a few steps from 14th Street and all its businesses: cafes, stores...
- The location is very quiet and it¿s only about a 30min walk to get to all the major attractions of D.C. The staff was also helpful, some nicer, some just doing their job. It was okay.
Cons -
- I was concerned when it was late in the evening & the front hotel building door was locked. It was after midnight. But I assume it was for safety reasons. I just had to ring the doorbell to enter & it was fine from there.
- I felt for a 2-star hotel this hotel was excellent. It is an older building so it has some of those older touches. But the bathroom had recently been updated.
- There are always rats in front of the building at night. The hotel and the rooms themselves are very old.
