- We loved this property before, this is our second stay at this same location. We decided to come back, just to get disappointed.
- The breakfast was great and the location was very nice
- The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable.
Cons -
- I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn multiple times and usually trust Hilton properties for weekend trips, including winter skiing trips. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing.Despite clear posted rules — including that children under 14 cannot be in the hot tub unsupervised and jumping in the pool is not allowed — we witnessed numerous guests breaking the rules. Kids were unsupervised, people were throwing food and behaving recklessly, and the staff seemed unable to manage the situation. It felt more like Orchard Beach than a hotel.We also noticed property neglect — broken items, messy areas, and staff apologizing but offering no real solutions. When I commented on what was happening, the response was helpless and ineffective.Overall, the experience was unsafe, chaotic, and frustrating. For loyal Hilton customers like us who expect a clean, secure, and well-managed environment, this was very disappointing. I hope management takes serious steps to improve safety, enforce rules, and maintain the property.
- The floor in the room was dirty. Had trouble getting hot water in the morning. One of the elevators was not working.
- My husband and I were there on our 19th wedding anniversary. We found a problem with the TV remote not working had to call maintenance. Also the bed SQUEAKED SO LOUDLY when we moved in the bed or sat on the bed!! Also the towel holders kept falling off the wall on to the floor and even the shower handle fell off in the shower!! We had to call maintenance again!! I notified the receptionist of these problems and told her that I would notify the Hampton Inn customer service of my complaints and would be requesting a refund!! Interior design in the resort, breakfast was good, hallways were clean, pool and jacuzzi okay!
