Quality Inn Trinidad

This is a newly renovated hotel with expensive carpet and tile. The entry way initially smelled of chlorine, the room I was assigned smelled like death and strong mold. I requested a refund. I had to leave immediately due to the extremely strong odor.

The front staff were related to kitty litter issues and bragged about it on its right tat. The lobby bathrooms were both wide open being aired out. The pool had a Walmart type plastic baby gate instead of more typical pool gates. Horrible experience.

The price

The blinds didn’t give any privacy Carpet in room had unpleasant smell. Breakfast made me sick . My room Door was hard to open and shut .

The person who checked us in was very hepful and pleasant. The room exceeded or expectations.

The pool was not heated. We started in the hot tube. Then later jumed into the pool. I had read that the pool was heated. No big deal.

Good value, pool and hot tub are nice. Staff are very nice and breakfast is decent. Very close to our favorite fishing lake. King bed room was better than the queen rooms I have stayed in here. Fridge was also good, biggest mini fridge that I have seen.

Pool was a little bit too cold and hot tub was foamy. Still a good deal though.

Old, smelled like smoke, lobby and rooms were dirty

There was no ashtray in the room and it was supposed to be a smoking room

The staff are so kind and helpful. He room was quiet and upgraded. I slept well. We will be back.

There were people smoking pit and the smell was all through the hall and into our room. The front desk did eventually deal with it and the smell improved. The pool is in the lobby and there is a strong chlorine smell throughout, but not in your room.

Very comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower, ability to open the window and let fresh air in, friendly front desk person

We got a suite and it was massive! It slept 6 and we all fit marvelously without feeling like we were on top of one another.

I have stayed there often the price and convenience

The ice machine is very remote and the room that the ice is located in is locked in the morning

The location

The grounds are not maintained- weeds everywhere. The carpet in the hall way several large stains. The room was fairly clean but the place overall needs much attention.

Easy access, big parking lot with a space to let the dog run a little.

I did not like being directly next to the outside door but it was convenient with the dog. The front door to the lobby was acting up and did not always open which is a problem when it was not busy and the door would not open.

Inside rooms. Clean, comfortable beds. Good included breakfast buffett. Quiet. Easy access from freeway.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!! I was concerned because the last quality inn was not great. BUT THIS ONE WAS GREAT! Very Clean! Friendly Staff! I felt safe and comfortable!

I have pics. That bathroom was gross it was not cleaned. I informed the front desk. We couldn't shower tub was clogged with hair & poop. That bathroom stunk so bad. We travel alll day we couldn't shower

NO SHAMPOO AND 2 tissues in the box of tissues.

This hotel was definitely not worth $--- per night. The entire hotel reeked of Chlorine from a pool in the lobby that is not enclosed. Also, for the price they charge per night, you would expect an upgraded breakfast. But the breakfast was mediocre.
