Rooms offer free Wi-Fi and guests can relax in the solar thermal pools at the hotel. The onsite restaurant is called "The Ridgway" and the rooftop bar is called "Great White Buffalo" A small fridge is available in all guest rooms at Chipeta Lodge. Free toiletries are provided. Most rooms offer access to a private hot tub and some boast a full kitchen. Guests can enjoy a full service spa at Chipeta Lodge. Laundry facilities, and souvenir/gift shop are all available for guest convenience. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is less than an hours’ drive from the hotel and solar springs. Ridgeway State Park is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.

Pros +
- The room was stunning and had a great view. It was nice having the bar and restaurant right there as well!
- The room was on the bigger side. The shower pressure is great and the bed is pretty comfortable. They provided full size branded bath soaps that smelled great. Big fluffy towels and in room robes.
- The room was like an apartment. Very cozy.
Cons -
- The room we stayed in did not have a totally enclosed bathroom which heated up the room that already has cooling problems during the summer months. Also the room we stayed in is directly across from pickle ball courts that started at 7 AM.
- The pool was closed.
- I am a 73 year old disabled veteran and was given a room on the 3rd floor, a long way to carry all of our luggage. There was no ice in the entire motel, the air conditioning was not working and the refrigerator had so much ice built up that the freezer
