    Pros +

    • Great green hotel
    • Location, Location, Location....Property is well located and well maintained. It's an old property but renovated superbly. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. There is limited space to put your toiletries so I would make the suggestion to get a small table to put in the bathroom (there is plenty of room for it). Our room (Amethyst) had a coffee station which was nice but there was also one in the hallway. You do have to climb stairs with your luggage, but the staff volunteered to help with that. Something to know - there is a multiple USB outlet available so if you use a "C", then bring a cable that fits. Bed was very comfortable, room spotless, nice carpet. Room was crowded with two beds in it so pack as light as possible. Parking was free in the lot across from the hotel. Just bring in your tag number and they will log it in. Walking distance (about 10- 15 min walk) to the hot springs.
    • Great location. Walk to stores and restaurants. Our room had many windows for great sunshine!

    Cons -

    • Squeaky bed but not a deal breaker
    • Nothing - wonderful just as it was.
    • Room was a bit smaller than expected but it was worth it to stay in a historic hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Interesting historical building. Close to restaurants and attractions.

    10JanePosted on: 11-27-2025

Friendly reception, large airy room, walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and street parking right in front.

    8EleanorPosted on: 11-25-2025

Clean and quiet place to stay. Parking was free for us.

Room was a bit smaller than expected but it was worth it to stay in a historic hotel.

The staff should get a raise.. They were exceptional !

The carpets, especially skirting the bed, were filthy.. The air-conditioning and heat barely worked. No ice machine. I have stayed in over 300 hotels ;all had ice available. No coffee provided. At the very least, a coffee stand in the lobby would have been appreciated. The owner needs to praise the staff for getting my instant coffee and some from the back area.

    10NicolePosted on: 10-4-2025

The location was great. Right near the town. Town has multiple restaurants and little stores. Also we went to the hot springs.

    8JenniferPosted on: 10-1-2025

The location was excellent and the hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed frame squeaked every time you moved. It wasn’t conducive for a good night’s sleep.

Clean, comfortable, and in the heart of Idaho Springs! Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

Parking can be an issue on weekends, so plan accordingly.

    10MarnyPosted on: 9-26-2025

Conveniently located. Exactly as expected. Great check in.

Some road noise but it’s life!

    10KurtisPosted on: 8-26-2025

Communicated with staff that we should have a very later arrival (1:30 a.m.) They were very accommodating.

Great location. Very nicely updated historic inn. Nice rooms with a good sized bathroom. The creaky floors reminded me of my grandma's house.

No elevator, but I wasn't expecting one. There are ground floor rooms available.

    10Lee-AnnePosted on: 8-21-2025

Beautifully restored property. Very clean. Furnishings were exquisite. Great location close to everything on the main street.

    8BrendaPosted on: 8-16-2025

    Great location and interesting building.

The power company was replacing a power pole right outside our window. All night, we could see their lights and hear their noise. We did not get much sleep. UGH!

    9TomasPosted on: 8-10-2025

Close to downtown, was able to walk to breakfast

Air didn’t work so great. Was a little hot.

    10ZimmermannPosted on: 8-5-2025

Just thought the staff was exceptional. Got up at 2am to check us in and welcome us. And the rooms were clean and spotless and it was so convenient and in a great stopping town of Idaho Springs on our way to Steamboat

The Club Hotel was a good base for exploring Colorado. Did a concert at Red Rocks, Glenwood Springs, Independence Pass, Loveland Pass and East and West Rocky Mountain NP. Staff was friendly and hotel is within walking distance to restaurants.

The room got a little hot at night.

    9LenaPosted on: 5-3-2025

    Location, owners, staff, room.

Walls a little thin, could hear neighbors.

    8HeatherPosted on: 4-14-2025

Parking costs are paid by the property. Room was cute, bright and clean. Staff was friendly and kept things easy. Complementary bottle of water in room along with a little gift. Local Craft coffee in room. Coffee and fruit water provided in the hallway. B&B feel enjoyed every aspect.

The bed was a little hard for my liking. Just preference. Enjoyed everything else
