Idlewilde by the River

Pros +

• I enjoyed our location of our cabin. It was immediately next to the river. The sounds of the water and the view of the river was very nice. The location was close to RMNP east and a quick drive to downtown. The cottages are close together, but it still was quiet. We had some problems with the wifi and we received prompt attention by staff and the problem was resolved quickly.
• I couldn’t even shower so disgusted
• Everything was so clean, And the property was comfortable

Cons -

• The bathroom condition was very poor. There was a small tile missing in the shower and the grout was very, very dirty. The bed had a flat sheet (clean and crisp), but only covered with only a thin quilt which had stains on it. It didn't look like it had been washed. We found a blanket in the closet so that helped, but it didn't feel clean. Also, we rented a one bedroom and it really was a studio. There was no door to the bedroom.
• Check in was weird and the shower leaked the entire time
• The air conditioning is not functioning and the second floor is extremely hot. The supply of hot water in the shower is inadequate; after the third person uses it, there is no hot water remaining. Lastly, we attempted to contact the on-site managers and the emergency hotline, but there is no one there.
