Hampton Inn & Suites Yuba City

For anyone who does not know it Yuba City is overrun with roosters and chickens that run wild. The Hampton Inn parking lot is full of them on the grass and in the bushes. The roosters are known to scratch cars when they roost on them.

We didn't realize we booked a suite. It was a great surprise. Room was extremely spacious,lovely decor. I thought the location was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Clean; breakfast

Air conditioner is controlled by motion sensor. It turns off in the middle of the night when there's no movement, and I woke up sweating.

The lady at check in was very friendly. The lady at check out seemed bothered that we were interrupting her conversation with other staff.

The rooms were mostly clean. The mattresses were horrible. Putting a fluffy mattress pad does not hide the cheap, extremely uncomfortable mattress. For the cost of this hotel I was very unsatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel.

Front of hotel closed so had to park, then walk around hotel to side entrance , then walk inside to middle of hotel to check in, then to our room. It was a lot of walking, and when you=re tired....Apparently adding 50 rooms, but nothing in website or prev

Our room had an odor that was hard to ignore. There was evidence it had not been cleaned thoroughly, stickers from new clothes stuck on obvious places such as the bathroom wall and on dresser in front of TV.

It was clean, quiet, delicious breakfast and professional/friendly staff! Loved the chickens outside and the roosters crowing in the morning¿¿

Room was a bit dark and toilet seat very low¿¿ Needed a grab handle next to it for old folks¿¿

The hotel was in a convenient location (walking distance to stores and restaurants). The staff was excellent! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.

They have a issue there The rooster crow Thur out the night and if you happen to get a room that's close to here they are which I was Was up all night

Bed was a little squeaky. First floor rooms are kinda sketchy at night people can see from outside. Just keep the light low and you¿ll be fine

Roosters around the hotel kept us awake in the wee hours of the morning.

Safe, staff wore masks, clean and nice and comfortable! I will only stay here when in Yuba City. Candice at front desk is so sweet and friendly.

The staff was courteous and professional. The rooms were spotless and the bed was the most comfortable one I've slept on. The free breakfast was fantastic, many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was clean.

We were evacuated at breakfast. A fire alarm was doing if for a good 25min. Not one person of staff let us know why or offered any compensation.

It was mostly quiet. There were the roosters crowing but not loud enough to be a nuisance. The basic wi if was great, no glitches and I didn¿t have keep logging in. Staff was friendly. TV channels offered were decent. Will stay here again.

The hotel is very clean. Staff is very friendly. Room above me sounded like a horse was in it at 130 am and the hotel staff addressed it. Great location! Aside from the roosters here and there it was very quiet the whole time.

Breakfast doesn't start until 6am. I was hoping it would start at 5:30 so I had a chance to grab it before running to my shift. And what's with the random rooster's outside? I didn't hear them all night, but about 6 they start, and then around 5 am again?
