- The price was lower than any other Yreka hotels for this night, and as it turned out, for good reason.
- The owners/staff were very friendly, and spoke English very well. They were helpful with things like replacing a lamp that didn't work. The bed was comfortable and the coffee-maker worked. From the street, the property is pretty.

Cons -
- We found Black Mold throughout our room: On the bathroom walls (here they attempted to paint over), the towels and washcloths were discolored with mold, and when we went to bed we found mold under the pillows and on the sheets.
- Outdoors the property smelled like cigarette smoke at times. The fire alarm was missing, one of the lamps didn't work, no signs of the advertised continental breakfast. Run down. Overpriced for what we got.
