Pros +
- The house is historic and very charming. Owner was fantastic and told us all kinds of things that were very helpful! I would have enjoyed a king size bed, but the queen was very comfortable, and room was very clean. Kitchen use was very convenient!
- Beautiful home. Owner congenial and helpful.
- The facilities were remarkable. This restored 1895 mansion and grounds were well built, managed and comfortable. Noelle was really a gracious and kind host
Cons -
- Road noise. Did not talk to anyone in person.
- Stairs to my room!! Difficult for seniors
- There was nothing I found objectionable about the property. I did worry about bringing any drink up to the room for fear of damaging the beautiful antiques. If there was something to put your tea or other drinks on that would be safe from moisture for the furniture. If there was something, I missed it. I used the tray that held the glasses when I brought up tea to enjoy in the room.

What breakfast? Snacks with tea.
Road noise. Did not talk to anyone in person.
It’s beautiful. It’s a museum of vintage furniture, very nice. Complete kitchen dining room living room and wrap around porch with lovely fountain in the garden
Stairs to my room!! Difficult for seniors
It felt like home should be. They give you a key for your room to lock the door, but after opening for the first time, we never used it because it felt so safe and inviting, just like a real home should feel. Like mi casa es su casa, but like they really meant it!

Nice, charming Victorian era stately home.
No air conditioning. Just a malfunctioned oscillating fan. The room got hot and stuffy, Windows couldn't open because they were painted shut. Had to open our door to get air from the hallway.
Very homey, was alone in the entire inn, and very comfortable. The property also had a cat named Ellie and she was so cute and even ran into our room to say hi.
The shower went cold very fast, the location is in a fairly sketchy area, and there was no heater so the room was very very cold all night. There weren’t many blankets and only 2 pillows on the bed.
Beautiful, historical and conveniently located by restaurants and downtown. Loved having our own bathroom. Very cozy room
Pretty loud road if you are in the front bedroom. Couldn’t open the blinds.
Location to downtown. Cool house and property. Friendly service. The owner made our stay very enjoyable.
Lovely owner. Room was convenient with the parking space right outside our door.
It was somewhat dark inside, but not a big deal.
Beautiful place, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Walking distance to everything downtown. Great history to discover in town. Love the cats on the property too!
Clean. Nice touches; decor, robes and coffee bar.
A little warm at night , a fan would have made it comfortable.
I’m disabled and use a walker and oxygen. I had no trouble getting around, the bathroom was perfect for my disabled body. Staff were thoughtful and I would highly recommend staying here
The bed was a little bit too high for someone who’s legs don’t work (but staff made sure it worked for me
First - didn’t realize it was a bed and breakfast. Couldn’t get into the Inn. Once we got in we realized that there was no TV in the room. The room was very warm and there was no way to cool it down. Had to put luggage in the window to keep it open. Could not utilize the common space due to a house cat in the Inn. I am highly allergic to cats. I didn’t realize we would be required to share a bathroom - had to use it and found the cat sitting in the hallway. We drove all day and then to have this horrible experience- I wanted to cry. Unfortunately we had prepaid 50% of the room so we couldn’t check out- any motel would have been cheaper, more private and I wouldn’t have had to worry about a house cat or suffer an allergic reaction to the cat!
Everything!! House heat was on - no way to cool down the room. Would have never selected the Inn if I had known a house cat had freedom to roam the whole house - couldn’t unpack - didn’t want any cat dander on my clothes. Cat hair in the air can cause a very severe allergic reaction requiring medical intervention. Left as quickly as we could. What a waste of time and money - really missed not having a TV in the room.
Victorian decor and charm. Comfortable bed. Great downtown location. Historic and charming. Nice little coffee station in shared space. Two kitties on premises.
Comfortable beds, and clean. Decorated nicely and quaint.
The road noise was loud but put in earplugs and I was fine.
Interesting experience to stay in a Victorian-style place. The bathroom and place as a whole were very clean.
Very helpful information via messages before we arrived. We arrived later in the evening so it was great that we could do contact less check in. Before booking we were a bit confused by previous reviews regarding the bathroom, thus: We booked a room with ensuite bathroom and that is also what we got.
Garden room in back was very quit with a private entrance. Perfect !
