Waterloo Inn

Bed was really comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location was excellent for access to freeway, dining options and area highlights. No noise after 9 or 10 p.m.

Appears to be in a phase of remodel/development; windows with paper over them, cars and boat in lobby parking, rooms are scant and no frills or even a refrigerator, etc.

The bed

After 3 days they raised price for extra days. Last day before checkout i told then i would be out late. Then i called and told the i didnt need the room and she offered to hold belongings at front desk. When i came in she said i had to pay 140.00.

Good location right off the highway with a Denny's in the same parking lot. The woman at the front desk was very nice.

I had requested a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room which reeked of old smoke. The hotel itself was poorly kept up. The bath towels had large marks on them as if they had been run over by something.

The hotel smells like cigarettes. The room only smelled a little like that, but the halls were pretty bad. A corner of my room also smelled a little bit like pee, which was really disconcerting. The breakfast was also not a full breakfast or near it.

Staff was froendly

Old, dirty, mold in shower, holes in walls and some were patched but my 12 year old daughter could've done better. Had I not been so tired that I couldn't hold my eyes open, I wouldn't have stayed. Seriously thought of just sleeping in my car instead

Hotel is in Avery bad neighborhood. Rooms are smelly . No elevator! The breakfast area barely fit 4 adults and 4 kids in there.

The lady was very friendly i appreciated her kindness and prompt service

The room was dirty,the shower curtain was moldy, there was no toilet paper in the room , there was a smell in the room which was probably the mold in the restroom

Nothing. Disgusting.

Filthy, loud, rundown and gross. I've stayed in some not so great places but this was the worst. I'm not very picky but they could at last wipe the fluids from the floor and sheets.

No gym, pool

Beds were comfortable and tv worked.

No microwave, coffee pot or breakfast.

I didn’t go in the building There were groups of people hanging out in parking lot. I didn’t feel safe getting out of my car with my grandchildren I drove around the parking lot and noticed the pool was closed down and trash laying around I chose that area because it would have been close to my new job. It’s too bad

Good location. Bed was comfy. Room was clean except for the floor. 24 hr front desk (the fact that it was 24 hours, not the person at the desk).

The listing said "every room has a spa bath". I checked it numerous times before I booked, because I was surprised and SO happy to see that. That's why I choose this hotel in Stockton. When we got there after 10 hours of driving, the clerk thought I was crazy and told me there were no spa baths in any rooms. She didn't care that there had been false advertising. When we went up to the room, there was a standard tub with NO plug. We had to go get one from the front desk, and it leaked a lot, so the I had to keep filling the tub up again. There were 4 towels: 2 very small, 'regular' towels and 2 hand towels. I had to wrap with head with the "regular" towel and draw myself off with a tiny hand towel. There was no towel rack to put the wet towels on afterwards! No coffee machine, no microwave, no comfy chair to sit in, just an office chair by the desk. Hubby had no where to sit. The floor in the main room was dirty. The hallway smelled. A lot.In the morning, I went downstairs to the breakfast area...don't know what else to call this small room with tables and chairs. Nothing was served, not even coffee. Apparently they are renovating. The clerk asked me how our stay was, so I told him about my concerns. He did not take it well at first, but once I explained that customer feedback is how you make your business better, how you get more people to come to your hotel, leave good reviews and come back to stay again, he got it. and we had a good talk. Bottom line: Okay, you're renovating....no one told me about that when I booked. I came for the spa tub, and the lack of truth, service and client care means I won't be coming back. But this place has potential, and I hope they will take their customers' feedback seriously and make the hotel a success. Oh, and the spa tub claims have been removed from booking.com. Thank you.
