The rustic rooms at this South Lake Tahoe Motel all feature cable TV. A 24-hour reception is available. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Pinewood Inn. Nothing.
There was no coffee pot in the room, and I had to leave before the coffee would be ready in the lobby of the other hotel connected to this hotel. The woman behind the desk allowed me to borrow her kettle, so I could boil water for my coffee.
Cleanliness, refrigerator and microwave were in clean and in great condition

Cons -

Person on staff wouldn't let me check in. I'd unexpectedly had to walk to a nearby hotel for late check in at Pinewood. When I complained about that, she decided that she refused to check me in for my prepaid room. I had to find another hotel after 12am.
It's very old, and the rooms are very small. There was not a closet, and no air conditioning. Only a very old fan in the room. They had to use a few extension cords around the room, which makes one feel that might be a fire hazard.

Very accommodating. We got A second story room. Since my wife is handicap they switched us to a lower handicap room.
