In California Gold Country, this Sonora motel is a one hour drive from Yosemite National Park. It serves a daily continental breakfast featuring cereal, coffee and juice. Free Wi-Fi is provided in every guest room. A cable TV is included in all rooms at The Gold Lodge. Each air-conditioned guest room features a telephone and tea and coffee-making facilities. BBQ facilities are available on site at Sonora Gold Lodge. Vending machines with drinks are also available. There are numerous hiking opportunities in the area around this hotel. Columbia State Historic Park is a 10 minute drive from The Gold Lodge. Black Oak Casino is 11 miles away.

- Location was the only good thing.
- We did not enjoy our stay at all.tge room ruined our trip we couldn't relax in that room of complete filth . I'm positive they don't clean there rooms at all
- The bed was comfortable. I liked the baseboard heaters.
Cons -
- Doors jams, no outlet plugs near or in between beds, cable TV don't work, mold on the walls and other things I'm forgetting.
- Toilet holder was broken on the ground, cloths rack broken barely hanging on the wall. Bed headboard was torn up and worst of all spider webs in the shower with dead spiders on the wall.
- The room was not anything close to what the Internet showed. Filthy bathroom hair in sink, dust on all counters, no TP, ice bucket had garbage in it. we couldn't even sleep in the bed we ended up going to Walmart bought pillows and blanket. Bates Motel!!
