    Pros +

    • The old Shaver Lake cabin/lodge vibe, and the individual who answered our call when we called to notify them of our late check-in, hotel employee, who was still there when we arrived late. Hotel employee was engaging, thorough, helpful, and accommodating.
    • The staff was very friendly the room was clean and cozy but the best part was the shower. The hot water stayed hot and the water pressure was excellent. After a long day on the slopes being able to take a long hot shower makes everything better.
    • Great breakfast room/lodge with fireplace. The staff was excellent! Heater work great! Cozy and cute! Loved the decor.

    Cons -

    • The hot water in our bathroom didn't flow smoothly, even after letting it run for 5 minutes, and we did t want to let it run longer because we were concerned about water waste.
    • This hotel exceeded my expectations.
    • Bathroom could use updating, as could closet and flooring in rooms. Otherwise great!

Scenery was beautiful, check-in was easy

Was kind of cold couldn't figure out how to use the fireplace

Staff was very friendly. The few issues that we had they were able to solve for us.

Was pricey but we knew it would be with the location. It could definitely use new carpet (turned our feet black) & a paint job inside the bathroom

I love that they are pet friendly my 2 goldens had an amazing time at shaver

Cozy space. They provided a plug in heater which was nice/needed. Great hot shower!

The carpet seemed old, run down, and coming up. There was someone cleaning the septic system (very loud) which made the building shake, and knocked off the wall hung soaps in the shower. We were on our way out so no big deal.

Great location. Could walk to market and restaurants.

Dirty coffee mugs in room we had to wash before we used them, light bulb for reading light that didn’t work. Office had limited hours and didn’t pick up phone.

    I like the location

The bedsheets were dirty, there was hair and debris found under the covers. There was hair in the shower and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The toilet paper was almost empty and they did not supply any extras. The shower was lukewarm all the time and it would not get hot during our two day stay. Customer service was terrible. We arrived on time and our room was not ready, we were told we would get a call and didn’t receive a call. The supervisor had terrible customer service. The room had an old smell. We will not stay there again.

The hotel was the perfect location

The walls are so thin you could hear literally EVERYTHING .i had the volume on the tv lower then 9 and it was way before 10 pm when this lady with no pants! came POUNDING on the door telling us to shut up and she knows the D.A and is going to call the sheriff it was a very scary experience.the lady expected us to watch tv on mute and not talk i guess ??

I like the location. I liked that we were close to the lake.

The stay was too short, the hotel was a little pricey.

    9PaulaPosted on: 9-9-2025

Loved the privacy of the little cabin, the bed was really comfortable, it was clean

Staff wasn’t very welcoming, not much of a greeting, they sort of just stare at you. Could use some customer service skill classes for sure and it would’ve been great, they have a great business and it could be ruined by something as simple as a that. Not too bad though.

    Where the property was located.

We stayed in room number 7. Restroom was outdated and needed work.

    7HoangPosted on: 7-9-2025

The staff is very nice. She showed me the map and guided me how to get to the water fall. The location is close for everything.

The bathroom fan is so noisy. And the window can’t open.

The staff who checked us in was super friendly and let us know what is open around in the area in case we wanted to grab a bite to eat. She also let us know that we can get a small discount at the restaurant across the street if we let them know we are staying here. We were welcomed to walk around the property or to check out the fire pits. The rooms were clean and definitely had a cabin feel which I love. The bathrooms were nice, water pressure and heat were good too. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room which definitely came in handy. I love that there was a small dinette table in the room! It kind felt like a cozy mini home.

The hotel rooms rooms were quaint and rustic, which is super cute, but we did have a small issue with mosquitoes in the room and pretty big/thick spider on the side of the bed. I totally understand we are up in the woods and thankfully, we had bug spray with us. My family that stayed with me couldn't quite get some good sleep after that. I knocked out like a rock.

the state of the room was deplorable- beings were broken, the door was too short allowing noise and light into the room, carpet was dirtyManager was initially nice until I communicated my complaints, I requested a reimbursement of my last day, this was declined. after he discussed this with his management, they offered $100. after over a month and numerous calls to the manager, I have yet to receive it.
