- Staff was very nice in accommodating us. The hotel is an older property but recent upgrades. Fantastic breeze and nice view of Santa Monica. It?s 2nd and Broadway Santa Monica you can easily walk anywhere in Santa Monica. ??
- The location.
Cons -
- Smell, beds not comfortable
- Carpet in main area needs addressed, they agreed. Valet parking was $35 but nice to drop off. Bathtub felt uneven like nothing under it.
- It's old-fashioned and bare-bones. Given the incredible location, it's a surprise that none of the big chains have bought this and modernized it. I'm glad they haven't, because other rooms nearby cost double or more.

The location.
