Located just off Route 101 and less than 2 miles from downtown Santa Maria, this all-suite hotel features rooms with full kitchens. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The Candlewood Suites Santa Maria has modern accommodations with a flat-screen cable TV and a sitting area. A coffee maker and ironing facilities are included. A fitness center with cardio equipment and a TV is open to all guests at the Santa Maria Candlewood. A business center, airline and rental car services are also available. The Candlewood Cupboard is open at all times with drinks, snacks and frozen meals. Barbecue facilities are also located at the hotel. - The room was clean.
- Very nice area of Santa Maria. Rooms come with kitchenette fully equipped. Room was clean and looked nice. Pet friendly and there's a walking path for pets. Staff was friendly. Great room for a great price.
Cons -
- It was trashy.
- The staff wore street clothes so they were hard to recognize. They don?t have pet free rooms. They need to upgrade and replace some of the older hardware in the room.
- $75 pet fee for one night is pretty steep. The walking path for pets is dirty and needs to be maintained.
