Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego North/San Marcos

They charge $5/day for parking, "2" ply Toilet paper was very thin and not absorbent, and paper towels never tore correctly and rough textured. Not up to par for this star level hotels I've stayed at.

This was a big room. With a washing machine. The hallway was dingy with buckling carpeting. The gave me a room a long trek away from the elevator but i didnt mind the exercise.

When I was outside packing up early I noticed a hispanic man walk in for breakfast it didnt seem as if he was a patron but he was polite and I noticed him letting everyone else eat before him.

The staff was serving well! Breakfast was delicious! Room was comfortable and bed was good!

Breakfast was very good and the hotels was very clean And the staff was very pleasant.

That I didn?t get to stay longer.

the price and location for our trip was the first thing that brought our attention

the hotel had a big sign of complete water outage at the entrance, it was a big no for us not having water for our stay. did not receive any warning prior to our arrival, fortunately we know the area and could move fast to look for another location.

We had a wedding to attend on Friday at 4:00 pm and the Staff accommodated us with an early check in so we could dress for the wedding! We greatly appreciated that!

We had a burn on our tv screen and when I called the front desk there was nothing they could about it. They said they would have maintenance look at it three different times three different days. Nothing ever came of it. We spent --- a night for That smh

Friendly staff any request was taken care of!! Quiet room, w/ comfy bed, pillows & towels!! The small little kitchen was so useful, even a Dishwasher! Very spacious room!!

Rooms were clean but the hallway carpet could use a little refresh. Other flooring in hotel very clean!!

The new mattress was sooo hard. They replace the mattress during our stay. The old mattress while lumpy was actually better than the new one. It's as if they chose to save money with getting a really hard mattress so it would take longer to sag. It hurt.

The location was very close to family we were visiting. We loved the 2 bedroom suite, it was perfect for what we needed. The complimentary breakfast was great! The amenities were also outstanding (gym, pool, fire pit...)

A lot of light switches and outlets didn't work. There was no dresser in one of the rooms (we had a 2 room suite). We didn't really have house keeping during our stay.

The staff were friendly

The free breakfast was full of junk food. First morning there was only about an eighth of a cup of coffee. Second morning there were no cups for the coffee and nobody to be found.

Very dated rooms, decor, furniture, smelly old carpet in hallways, dim hallways, very loud AC in room. Breakfast ended at 9 am-too early.

The location was in the area where we needed to be. The staff was nice and accommodating.

We found a cockroach in a cabinet (a live one). Everything looked old.

The beds were old and worn out. Should have been replaced some time ago We were expecting an on site restaurant but there was none. The room was not clean. I walked in the room in my socks and when I took them off they were black No more Marriott
