The location is good, but the area is a bit run down.

There was a musty smell in both rooms.

House keeping not every day, dirty carpet, no tea facility only coffee, noisy plumbing

The location was excellent. I was a quick walk to many, many restaurants. The coffee shop on the 1st floor was amazingly good. Apple Park, the Winchester Mystery House, and the San Jose Airport were 10 minutes away at most.I valet parked my rental, and enjoyed my couple of days!

There wasn’t much no to like. There is an empty restaurant space off the lobby, but the other places are so close that it had little impact.

Non-chain hotel, great vibe, very clean and comfortable rooms, great value.

This is a great location, with walkability, easy on/off freeway access, and unique aesthetic.

Pillows are small and super lumpy. Parking situation is terrible. $45+ for valet or walk from a lot down the street that still costs $20+, and no overnight street parking?

The hotel is so much prettier on the inside than it is on the outside! Cute art deco vibes and really good aesthetics overall! Rooms were spotlessly clean. We had a nice view of palm trees outside our window on the 7th floor. The bathroom is large and the room was perfect for our overnight stay in San Jose!

The air conditioner was very loud. The pillows are lumpy and not super comfortable. The bathroom light flickers terribly.

This is a lovely boutique hotel "as is" which will be refurbished in the next year or so. We loved all the art deco features of the hotel, and the lounge was a fun place to hang out at night. The location is great for food and entertainment, Little Italy and "The Market" are both a 5-minute walk away where you can get great food and hear live music. The rooms are large and beds comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this hotel.

the bath towels were too small.
