Free parking and distance to downtown.
The area is SUPER noisy even with earplugs. It's next to main streets and a residential area. The walls are super thin due to this place being SO OLD. There is also so much noise with the heavy doors being let go by other guests suddenly and if you're on the first floor you hear your neighbors heavy footsteps.The neighborhood nearby blasts music sometimes and you can hear it through a closed window if your room is facing that side. Since the motel is old, it's extremely run down and the rooms were dated and dirty.It's owned by a family who I'm sure try their best to maintain it but unfortunately the building is very old. The lights in the room didn't work half the time.The price we paid was not worth it at all. It was like staying at an expensive motel 6. (Motel 6 would have been better TBH) There are plenty of other BETTER options to stay at. We ended up elsewhere to stay for our remaining nights in San Jose so we could actually sleep.

The hotel was great, the room was recently remodeled and extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a well kept secret 5 star hotel.
