The Grove Inn

Communication was exceptional regarding check in, code access, and readiness of room since we arrived early. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our stay. We walked to the park, brunch, the pink ladies tourist area, and even grabbed some things from Trader Joe's just down the street. Would highly recommend anyone needing a place to stay while in the city.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were so comfortable and home like.The bed was very comfortable. The Inn was located near many locations. We will definitely stay here again on out next visit.

Very good hotel. Localisation is just great, just 2 minutes walk to the park with "Painted Ladies" with good eating and shopping options in walking distance. Hotel with a lot of charm. Good transport options with a bus stop just next to the hotel. It is very safe and clean part of San Francisco.

Very polite staff, check in was very easy, spacious rooms which were very clean and cleaned thoroughly every day. Location is good and in a safe environment. I was a bit worried about the Tenderloin area but that is far from the hotel, the hotel is in a very safe neighborhood with bakeries and grocery stores nearby.

Location is more than excellent; sitting right on Grove St it's a straight shot east to Civic Center and west to Golden Gate Park, Alamo Square is beautiful at sunset one block over & great food all around. Property feels homey and safe. Room feels like a hotel; comfortable bed, good water pressure. Will come again!

Only critiques are that the space would feel more comfortable with the sink in the bathroom instead of in the room, and if the bathroom had a more secure/space-separating door than the pocket door that is there.
