    Pros +

    • Cozy boutique hotel vibe in a decent downtown location. Lots of good restaurants within walking or short uber distance.
    • This hotel is right across from the hospital. It is franchised and is impeccable in every way. Ms Maria and staff kept it impeccable clean. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I recommend to anyone traveling to San Francisco.
    • We enjoyed the hotel cleanliness and how quiet it was. The room was great for our family of five.

    Cons -

    • Mel's Restaurant overpriced and not very good.
    • Parking was horrible. We were told we would keep a certain handicap spot and it was never avaible. One night had to park in an unmarked spot.
    • I did not like that my check out time was 11am and the house cleaning was knocking on my door at 10am to leave the room. Parking is also $40 extra per night and there is no microwave in the room only one in the lobby.

I liked the gated parking at the hotel and the cleanliness.

    the room was nice.

the manager was very rude . not willing to accommodate us for parking. said we couldnt book a room even though we paid our stay in advance. suggested we parked 2 blocks away from the room because employees were parked inside. will never stay here again.

It was very clean and new. Face lift construction was happening while we were there. Went to a concert to the Fillmore and food and concert were within walking distance.

You had to be careful which way you walked when you came out of hotel. Hotel located right on the border of the Tenderloin where there are a lot of homeless people. They were harmless but made you a little uncomfortable because there were so many.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-9-2018

Everything in the room was new and immaculate.

This hotel promises a wheelchair accessible lobby. Unfortunately for some, this is NOT the case. In order to access the lobby, you've got to climb like 10 steps. That's the only way to get in. Please change the description on your website!

The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, so the new rooms are very well appointed.

Our room was directly across from the elevator, in such an odd spot that we assumed it used to be a custodial closet. The noise was annoying while trying to work from the hotel. Also, the wifi was spotty, fyi, if you're working from here.

not too much, room interior was nice

hotel is in construction, price way too expensive given the level of construction, homeless everywhere including sleeping at entrance and entrance to garage on side street. filth everywhere.

    7KoryPosted on: 6-13-2018

Brand new rooms and decent location for price.

Obviously under construction. At time WiFi did not work the greatest. No hotel amenities I experienced other than complementary WiFi and watcher in the lobby.

    Very modern look.

Last time I stayed in same size bed/room specs (about a month ago). But this time the bathroom was smaller. Mirror was higher so wasn't as useful. Shower was smaller and did not have a sit down area. Remodeling, so have to carry luggage to desk (no ramp).

    7KristenPosted on: 9-21-2017

    The old style decor.

I think for the rating it was a good set up. A little noisy one night due to some construction they are doing.

    8GregoryPosted on: 5-30-2017

I liked getting a remote to get in and out of parking garage, also liked having Mel's diner on site and bar with hot sandwiches across the street

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-5-2017

Friendly staffs, excellent service, big comfortable beds, good location to every where, luggage storage room, shuttle bus to the airport, 24 hours hot water , tour guide info. , coffee and every Tuesday wine/ cheese happy hour, like to come back.

Internet in room little slow but in lobby was great.

    10AmandaPosted on: 3-12-2019

I appresisted the amenities especially the clock radio that allowed you to connect your phone to listen to music.

    10LauriePosted on: 6-17-2021

It's beautiful. The food in the restaurant was wonderful as well.

    10SuvinoPosted on: 2-22-2026

the location was perfect for my needs

I should have asked for a room off the street. There is a hospital across the street and the noise from sirens woke me through the night.

    8NoahPosted on: 2-5-2026

    Very nice and elegant

There is essentially hardly any parking at this hotel. They close down the gates at a certain time and will refuse to let you park in their garage if checking in by a certain time. I had to spend extra just to park across the way at a meter

    10ValeriePosted on: 1-26-2026

Very clean, love the architecture and beauty of this hotel. Bedding was comfortable and very quiet even with the street facing room. Secured parking was a plus.

    9BernadettePosted on: 1-20-2026

The location of the facility was conveniently located around everything we wanted to see.

The staff was pleasant, but the parking situation could use improvement. There were available parking spots in the upper garage, but we were routed to the lower level. The beds in the room were uncomfortable. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated, but the beds and pillows were not very comfortable.
